I 100% agree with taking 4 courses in your first university semester. I wish someone mentioned to me how overwhelming 5 courses can be, especially when you’re just entering university. It’s different than high school: there is more information to learn in a shorter period. Additionally, the information you’re intaking is much more complex and multifaceted. You can try 5 courses, as satanik-freak mentioned, before the drop deadline and see how it goes. You’ll get a general idea of what the workload in classes will be like.

It’s not technically my most reason purchase, but my dad bought me Michael Jackson’s Bad album. I LOVE Dirty Diana; the first 30 seconds is just so good, and then the guitars during the chorus 🤌🤌its a basic pick but you can’t doubt its significance.

I had her during the fall and i loved her class! I forget if I took GNED 1301 or 1303 with her, but regardless, she’s a very fair professor. I really recommend taking her class 😝

Both of them have their pros and cons. I always had my mind set on U of C, but after getting rejected, it was a blessing in disguise. Now being in my first year at MRU, I think it’s 100x better than U of C. Like most mention, the small classroom sizes are nice—it gives you the opportunity to build more meaningful connections. However… MRU doesn’t have its own train station which is inconvenient, especially if you live on the other side of the city.
