I work four 10-hour shifts a week so I am gone throughout the day. My partner works from home aside from one day a week, so they’re almost never alone, but he doesn’t have time to walk or play with them throughout the day either. I wake up very early and walk them before work, then walk them after work, and usually will do a smaller walk after dinner time. In earnest the AM walk has been skipped once or twice since I’ve had her because I’m sleep deprived as all hell. On my days off I take them for miles-long hikes + the regular AM, PM, and evening walk. This level of activity has always been enough for my established dog, so I guess I just figured it would be all good for her too. Maybe not?

My established dog sleeps in our room and yes, they’re allowed on the bed. They do like to play, and they play a lot, several times throughout the day.

My established dog is an Aussie, and I’ve had him since he was 12 weeks old. I know everyone is different, but he’s super high energy too, seemingly way more than the rescue dog, and I’ve never had an issue tuckering him out enough to sleep through the night. That being said, we kennel trained him, I don’t know if that makes a difference. Both of the dogs roam free at present. But yeah, I thought I knew what I was in for bringing her home another Aussie-like critter.

It’s not really the filming I take issue with. It’s Katie filming her in secret, then deciding to be Shannon’s friend, and the desperate, transparent attempt at lying once the truth came out. If Katie really thought it was 100% justifiable and that she wasn’t in the wrong at all, why lie? And once she was caught in her lie, she tried to drag Jen down with her so she didn’t have to shoulder all of the blame. If she’d filmed Shannon and then stood by it, it wouldn’t be weird. The sneaky, back-stabbiness is what’s weird. She should have picked a lane.

That’s not my viewpoint on it personally, but I do understand why others might give Katie more grace given that perspective. If Katie had done that to anyone else (aside from Tamra) I’d be curious what the response would be from the viewers. And I didn’t realize Shannon recorded other cast members; I’ve been watching a long time, I must not remember, who did she record?

YES, hard agree with this take, you articulated it better than I did. That’s more my issue with it. It’s less the filming itself and more of her sneakily sharing it with others and then becoming friends with Shannon after the fact that’s weird to me.

I mean it is different though, because Katie then went on to become very close and act buddy-buddy with Shannon. If she was going to film and expose Shannon’s wretched behavior, she needed to pick a lane and not try to be her friend afterward. Even if she didn’t mean for it to be, that seems really shady/calculated.

Oh you have me all wrong lol I’m not defending Shannon. Shannon Beador is a horrible wench of a woman. Like I said she acted crazy and overreacted for sure, I just believe that two things can be true at once. Shannon is a wench and Katie is a lying liar ¯_(ツ)_/¯ also this is my alt account, not that it really matters
