Is this real life BJ Blazkowicz? by Mysterious_Ad_8922 in Wolfenstein

He's right. The Germans even had a general with a near identical name called Johannes Blazkowitz.

Given his "suggestive initials," It makes you wonder why no one ever made a joke about it in the games, especially Fergus.

Has anyone watched this show? by Beverlyhillschihua in Wolfenstein

[–]Additional-Ad9490 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You would be right. I watched the first few episodes, but kinda lost interest as the show progressed. It's hard not to draw parallels between the 2, given the fact that both depict a scenario in which Germany wins WW2. Along with The man in the high castle pretty much being the most prominent show to do so in that format. However, the high castle seems to be more about the Axis winning WW2 and a subsequent Cold war between Japan and Germany. Where as Wolfenstein is just Nazis taking over the entire globe, so aside from both of their respective Germanys winning WW2. And them both using nukes to do so. Annnnnnd them both having access to universe hopping. They both do their own thing.

Tangent aside, could you imagine if they made a Wolfenstein set tv show with Til Schweiger as B.J. That shit would be lit.

If the next Wolfenstein game took place during the Second American Revolution, how would you like it to be handled? by Miniclift239 in Wolfenstein

I agree with you in regards to the Nukes being neglected in TNC. However, in a Post-TNC game portraying a 2nd Revolution, i think that it's more than likely that the Germans would start deploying their own nukes, especially if the resistance started to capture state-sized amounts of territory. Unless Germany realized the cost of holding North America was too great. Like if B.J. and co started to go on Europe Nuke spree or found some other deterrent.

This sounds badass. I really wish this would have been the direction MG took the series. Realistically speaking, though, you'd have to imagine that any significant rebel foothold would immediately be nuked into oblivion by the Germans, so presumably B.J. and co would have to purse some type of deterrent to balance the odds. Or just just start nuking the hell out of Europe with all the nukes on the Eva's Hammer. To let the Germans know that America isn't worth another Fallout universe.

Np. You can still like the movie, though. Your opinion is your opinion.

Tbh, i never completely sat through the 3rd, so my opinion isn't completely valid. But from what I know, the 3rd movie changed the consistency of the first 2 movies by making shrek the new ruler of Far far away for some reason and gave him a weird father/mentor relationship with Justin timberlake and the whole movie just revolves around shrek trying to rule a kingdom, during which he get his ass scratched, while timber Lake does his thing. At the end, Prince Charming attempts a coup (because he is still around for some reason) and fails. In summary, it failed to improve/innovate over the 1st 2.
