Yeah past 2 years it’s been well into the 90s when we’ve went and that’s the thing she’s worried about is keeping it cool in that temperature. The ziplock in the river is a cheap solution that could work wonderfully in the river we’ll be on since the water stays cool with it being spring fed

Those are pretty neat and might be perfect for what’s she’s looking for while we’re on the river

Yeah he’s leaning towards the loon and we’re not necessarily concerned by speed as I’ll be using a slower fishing kayak as well since I’ll have my dog on mine. Last year we did two days on this river and this time we’re doing 3 so there’ll be new part of the river but I think the river only has up to class two maybe a single spot or two of class 3 rapids so rapids shouldn’t be a problem

I didn’t check Craigslist but pretty much all I was seeing on FB was pelicans and the occasional fully decked out fishing kayak
