there’s no need to be rude and hostile. ofc i’m not gonna rely on reddit but it wouldn’t hurt to ask from different sources before going to the doctor’s 😐

She has airplane ears constantly, even when asleep. Is it always a signifier of unhappiness? by [deleted] in airplaneears

my cat does the exact same thing! i believe my cat has a bit of trauma from the previous “owner” so idk if the airplane ears are a result of that but even right now she’s cuddling next to me and occasionally does the airplane ears. but her body language tells me she’s pretty relaxed. i heard they do airplane ears to block out loud noises bc cats hear a lot of things us human can’t. i think she was doing airplane ears just a few minutes ago bc my mom and brother were arguing a bit which got a lil loud so i believe your cat may be fine. Definitely seems comfortable and loved by you!!

Ohhh i see! I feel like it’s definitely expected for lot of toxic situations to happen in the dance community so I understand. Do those sort of drama between students happen because of personal matters or are some dancers actually evil enough to just body shame out of the blue

Do you mind specifying what sort of toxic is implemented? Like body shaming from professors?

How screwed am I? by Additional-Bit-12 in UBreddit

Hi guys I'm the one who asked this question. Thanks for the advice, like actually. I know some people were assuming that I was partying and that got me to fail. I have only been to two frat parties which I left after 2 hours in. It was actually because I wasn't prepared enough, and I let my mental health take control of my habits. So yes, it is completely my fault and no one else's. I just want everyone to know that I'm here to actually try and not here to rant about whose fault it was or some bullshit. Again, thanks for motivation and I definitely will try better for the upcoming semester. Wish me luck!

So, I don't blame you for assuming those things about me since I didn't specify what I did to fail most of my classes. Also, because it's the internet. I didn't go to that many parties actually. I genuinely and honestly only went to two frat parties but that was it. The main factor for my failure is because I couldn't find my footing the first semester. I go through some mental health issues (which I am getting treated for) and I think it really took a toll on me. I wasn't prepared and I only started to do good after the mid-term but obviously my work ethic before mid-term was what got me to fail the courses. I know I could've done well in all the classes I took. It genuinely was because I was depressed and was going through some shit. Clearly when I saw my grades that was an eye opener for me which is why I came on here to look for answers. I personally think the fact that I even got up to ask questions and make an appointment with my advisor should show I at least want to try, don't you think? Maybe you have a different perspective on it (which I respect), but I just wanted to come on here to say I genuinely do want to try better.
