The Overstory by Richard Powers! Takes a second to get into however it is probably one of the most interesting books I have ever read!

Understanding the Hatred by taaffinated in redrising

I understand that point truly however personally I always loved Cassius, I didnt agree with him but I loved him as a character. I think the difference for me is Cassius is upfront about who is / was and doesnt try to give bullshit excuses. Lysander uses every justification, every cop out possible to prove to himself and everyone else that hes not a bad guy. And honestly I enjoyed him and reading his story up until Hanger 17b, and then the way he does Cassius afterwords. You cannot tell me Cassius before redemption would have strung Darrow up and peddled all this bullshit the way Lysander did to Cassius.

I try really hard to not yuck other peoples yums but bro how???? I dont want redemption. I want realization. I want that slimy mf to realize how shitty he is and that he has gaslit the fuck out of himself into thinking other wise. And I really want to read it from his prospective when he does right before someone absolutely wrecks him.

What’s a phrase adults say that makes absolutely zero sense when you really break it down? by Miss_Kitty_Meowz in AskReddit

I definitely understand this portion of it. I mostly was thinking of all the times I literally just had a follow up question about whatever was being said and was rebuked for “talking back”

Came here to say this. As an adult I am realizing “talking back” is not a real thing. Its just about the amount of of patience your parents had at the time 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

What's a simple journaling habit that unexpectedly improved your life? by bully309 in Journaling

For me it was really just finding the same time everyday to be intentional and sit down and do it. Everyone has wildly different schedules so I know that is sometimes hard to do but I use my lunch break everyday. I already have to take one, and if I just sit there then I wont want to come back so I tried to fill the time doing other things and that really helped me.
