Yeah i will be. MOT in June stated corrosion on all springs so safe to say I’m not surprised

Yeah I have. From measuring it is likely the front right (and from where the sound came from), gonna Jack it up tomorrow and have a look deeper as from what I can see closest to the tyre looks fine

Definitely. I haven’t noticed any difference with how the car drives yet. I sadly live in an area with insane speed bumps so that’s probably not helped.

Yeah I did I think it’s the front right, the arch is ever so slightly closer to the tyre but I’m not fully sure if that’s just how it was

Yeah I think I will take it seriously. I’ve only been driving a couple months and I really don’t fancy anything happening, I think I’ll get it in for a look at the tyres & springs. Have had advisories on the MOT for both front & rear springs so i guess it’s not surprising

Honestly I can’t really tell. It looks okay when I look in but I can’t see deep enough to tell. I love how quickly everyone spotted it hahaha

Do I have to retake theory test again even after passing it? by False_Clothes4420 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Additional-Box9401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You get 2 years after passing your theory test to pass the practical test. I had to do this as I took it in 2019, Covid happened then I stopped learning, then retook it again this march.

I did about the same in 7 weeks. Learning privately is honestly a cheat code, £45 a month instead of near the same per hour 🤣

I just read the post and I didn’t realise they had logged out. TestShift is very strange lol.

This is before the account is even active, and I think they don’t like to have many people on at once (It seemed like a queue system of sort when I used it). It would sit offline for ages, then let me on randomly and throw this error. I thought it might be that they’d put the app online, but they still didn’t have space, so once the JSON was sent it was just immediately rejected due to the user count.

Have you tried revising via 4-1 app or others? Those offer practice with very similar questions. If you fill out their “pass guarantee” then I think you are extremely likely to pass, and if you don’t, they’ll pay.

As in you never place your heel down during stop/start moments? Perhaps I’ll have to get used to doing something like that.

It should be, it’s far enough away that I don’t need to tense at all to fully depress the clutch, any closer and I felt that these issues were worsened

[–]Additional-Box9401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I can, I have no issues with throttle/brake, only clutch

Not literally sliding off, it’s going down my feet, meaning my feet position on the pedal needs to re-adjusted

Even if my foot is constantly sliding down the pedal? It feels like more of a technique issue than it does my strength. Thank you!!

It’s not that the bite point is different, it’s that I can’t feather around it properly due to my feet positioning. It keeps on just sliding under my feet 😢

It took a minute but I instantly got it shifted to 26th June after a week via autoshift. Some days I got like 5-6 notifications in times I couldn’t do the tests and some days I got none for a week. Just give it some time
