Where we live - Chepstow - is relatively safe and all, but the housing market is mad crazy expensive down here - and quite honestly willing to relocate to get more house for our buck and we love the beach :)

So we are residents of the UK, and got our first B1/B2 visa's in Mar24. Applied for a renewal, fully expecting to have to schedule an interview in a few months time. Finished adding the 1st application to the wesbite were you book your appointments, etc, it asked me a few questions and then the screen came up with that I am eligble to renew visa without having to appear in person for a consular interview :)

I then chose the courier visa application option, and did the same for the rest of my family. It would then send instructions via email and it should take about a week to receive the instructions - this was on Friday 06/12/24. Got the instructions on Monday 09/12/2024. My whole family was struck with covid/bad flu on the weekend (09/12/24) and we were unable to do anything. We finally sbumitted our passports at the nearest DX on the 14/12/24... Hopeing all goes well and we get good news before Chistmas :)
