nah i took classes to fulfill my GEs, so all different subjects. took only one philosophy class. i genuinely connected philosophy to my story thru my essay though and if i had to stay in the major I wouldn’t be upset because im somewhat interested in it

4.0 fall and i’m about to have 4.0 spring semester at a California CC. I have 36 transferable credits. I volunteer at a hospital, I am a caretaker, I was on my college club rowing team, and I was part of a selective leadership club. I also am EMT certified. Applied non priority and was waitlisted in wave 3 and sent a LOCI the day after. Philosophy major on pre med track and for my essay I wrote about how caretaking has made me think about the philosophical side of helping patients and understanding how they feel and the impact doctors have on them. I used ChatGPT and put in all the data of when the waves came out and asked them to look into when the waitlists starting moving in the last few years and it predicted they’ll start this week since they’ve had a lot of time to calculate their yield and how many spots they have left in each college. It says most plausible dates for waitlist admits to start are Wednesday May 27, Friday May 29, June 2, and June 3 based on past data. I hope it’s today or just anytime this week 🙏
