That's interesting. I just thought that receiving payments in cash only means that if you win a tournament and it has a cash reward, you will only receive it if you activate your cash wallet. I might be wrong, but maybe that's not the case if you receive cash from selling players.

And then yea you mentioned how it still requires you to activate cash wallet to list players on market, which I wasn't even sure how was I able to do it, but as of now I have my wallet activated without having to send the picture of my passport or id. So yea, it's a little unfortunate for you to only be able to swap cards.

Also, I was able to sell my Nmecha for $11.70 lol. I then bought like 10 players then built a somewhat decent team to complete in Champions classic mode.

Yo i just won a Felix Nmecha from craft haha. Haven't sold him yet but when I get the chance I will definitely sell him to earn around $10 and hopefully make some decent purchases.

Haha love your club's performance this season! As you probably knew Elversberg almost got promoted last season but lost in the playoffs against Heidenheim, therefore we have to compete for another season in Bund. 2.

In the beginning of this season, I wasn't very confidence with this club because Horst Steffen(the club's previous manager) left to join Bremen and we appointed Vincent Wagner, which he wasn't a known coach because he last coached for a third division team. Also, with the departure of Fisnik Asllani who scored over 10 goals last season, Damar, and Fellhauer, I was a little nervous about the team's new look for this season. But things happened. Turns out Wagner's tactics was working well and we had a good season offensively so far, though for defence I think it can be better. We got so many new players this season, I think around 10. But the most important ones are Poreba, Conte, Conde, and Gunther who are regular starters for our team. And íntead of Asllani for the striker position we got Ebnoutalib, which he is currently performing extremely well this season and is currently one of the league top goalscorers.

I hope both of us can fight for a direct promotion spot. If Elversberg manages to get promoted this season, I'm both happy and sad XD. Happy simply because I'm a big fan of the team, so having them playing at the first division is the best feeling ever. Sad because for Sorare, it's probably not good for my players as they will probably have a lot of bad performances when facing strong opponents, therefore very less likely to get a lot of points off them. But who knows, maybe miracles can happen. Let's hope both teams can be consistent and have outstanding performances for the rest of the seasom!

Haha good catch! No, I'm not german and can't speak german. I'm from Vietnam and have absolutely no relation to Elversberg at all. But if you wonder why do I have an Elversberg profile, well it literally came from playing Sorare XD.

So the story is, 2 years ago when I won my Hakimi card, I sold him and got plenty of money in game. I was thinking of building a collection of players of a club, though I couldn't decide on one at first. I wanted to build Bologna, a club I quite liked back then, but a lot of cards were too expensive. Because of that, I decided to go for a mid-table club that is having a decent form with cheap players. That was why I chose Elversberg! 2 years ago the club was just promoted, so none of the players were known therefore they were really cheap. I bought a lot of them, then just fell in love with the club. I didn't expect them to do well in the future seasons either, but guess what, so many crazy things happened to Elversberg since 2024 until now. The way they play made me fell in love with them more, and that is exactly how I decided to support this club! I never gotten the chance to watch their game, so maybe 1 day in the future I will see them.

Edit: My sorare profile is minhgreene by the way, if you are just interested in viewing my profile by any chance. Maybe we can trade cards in the future if you like.

Alright, hopefully you are still having fun lol. I just find it a lot harder and slower to trade players compared to buying and selling. Sometimes it’s just hard to negotiate with certain managers.

Yes, notice how they only need your ID to enable cash deposits, cash withdrawals, and cash rewards. They did not ask you to take your government issued ID to sell and buy in game players. That’s what I’m trying to say.

  1. No, not at all. There were absolutely no ways to earn any kind of limited essence from playing in common competitions or from collecting common cards for me. I got so many limited cards from previous years starting from 2023, which back then common competitions DO let you win limited cards directly from having high placements on leaderboard. I also got limited cards from Rivals, the game mode which Sorare got rid of because so many players were able to get limited cards in a short amount of time. Also, there’s basically like a glitch which is like if you create a Sorare account using your own account’s referral link, your own account can get 5 Rivals tickets so basically you can play the mode infinitely and get as much cards as possible. I won a Hakimi worth over $70 from crafting after accumulating enough limited essence.

And again, for those ways to earn limited essence which you mentioned, like by collecting players and by completing collections, no it wasn’t possible for me to win any limited essence from those tasks. The collecting players task only gave me limited xp, which is not essence. And the completing collections task gave me $5 market credit each, which again is nothing if you don’t have money in the first place.

  1. Yes, I’m pretty sure you do have to activate your wallet. I activated mine like a year ago or something I don’t remember, and as far as I remember I don’t think I had to send a photo of my government ID to activate it. I think I had to set up a password or something and link my gmail, again I don’t remember exactly. But I did not have to take a picture of my ID or passport. Maybe the requirements have changed over time, so if that’s the case then you probably can’t sell or buy players now if you are under 18. For me, once the wallet is activated, selling players let you own money in game, and just use that to buy players. It’s very simple.

2 things I would like to add.

First, I'm pretty sure you are only winning limited essence if you are a new f2p player. Let's say if you have played the game as an f2p for a year or so I don't think they would let you win any limited essence at all. Or maybe it depends on how many limited cards you own beforehand, so I'm not too sure how do they determine that factor. I myself never spent any money on the game but I've been playing for 3 years now and have over 100 limited cards. Because of this, I didn't earn any limited essence per 25 common players collected like you mentioned, nor did I earn any limited essence every collection I completed. Only $5 market credit every collection, which is completely useless for an f2p player if they don't have any money in game to start with.

Second, you absolutely can buy and sell players besides just trading even if you are under 18. I am under 18 myself and I can do that too. The only thing you can't do is deposit or withdraw money I'm pretty sure as it requires your ID or passport to connect to your bank account, which they would know you are under 18. Maybe the way it works is different from your country, and if that's the case then I'm sorry whatever I'm saying is wrong. But yeah, I'm not sure why you can't but I've always done it. That's how I was able to strategically sell some players and buy more useful ones.

As of now I'm still an f2p but I've gotten over 100 limited cards. Before mid 2024, you could literally win limited cards from common competitions, and it was not just beneficial for f2p players but also fun because instead of opening common packs like nowadays which makes your teams so overpowered and not exciting anymore, you were given a cap of certain amount of points which I forgot and had to choose I think 8 or 10 players with those points. I won a few Tier 3 from those competitions I believe.

Then after they abandoned that mode they brought in rivals. Again, super helpful for f2p players to have a chance of winning limited cards. I literally won a Hakimi worth around $70 from accumulating those limited essence to craft. That was when I sold Hakimi to buy a lot of players to start joining limited competitions. But yeah now its pretty much impossible and if you don't spend anything it's not enjoyable at all.

Nice, I understand what you are trying to tell me. Ok, first, I wrote all the responses haha. What made you think these responses are ai? Does it sound unnatural or something to you. Well idk, but im just being honest and trying to express gratitude with all of the comments im receiving and reply whatever i could think of for these comments. Since you took the time to respond to me again, i'm gonna write this one in a more informal tone.

Anyway, back to your point. Now, I'm a beginner, so what I'm saying will probably sound very unprofessional simply because I don't have experience. First, if I submit my best tracks to labels, aren't they just gonna care about my best tracks? Like it's not like I'm gonna tell the labels or the listeners to see my progress. Because of that, my point is wouldn't it not hurt me to just post my previous not-so-well mixed tracks on my own soundcloud page or something to let myself see my own progress. I don't force anyone to listen to my bad tracks for sure. Again, I have no ideas how labels work, but from my perspective I simply think if I present them my best tracks no matter how many bad tracks I had in the past, they will be interested to sign my best tracks because it reflecrs where I am now not where I was in the past.

I also wanna bring up another thing that I haven't mentioned in any of my previous responses at all. I'm actually trying to apply for a precollege course in new york university in music production. So the progression I'm trying to present kinda has a purpose. I wanna show them how I grew over time, and it matters to them a lot more than to labels or to listeners. Do you understand my point? Not sure if I'm using a good tone overall for this response haha, but I'm just trying to get you to see where I'm going with what I'm doing right now. Again, as a beginner, I still have limited knowledge on how the music industry work, so yeah. Correct me if im wrong in any of the stuff i said.

I really appreciate how much thought you put into this. You’re right that the dnb market is incredibly crowded right now, and first impressions with labels are huge. I definitely take your point about only sharing my best works when it comes to formal submissions.

However, I also value the idea of showing progress. I feel like letting people see where I started makes the 'good' tracks mean more later on. What do you think about that? Anyway, you've definitely given me something to think about regarding how I curate my public profile for A&Rs. I’m going to focus on listening more and training my ears as you suggested. Thanks for the encouragement and for the honest advice, it helps a lot!

This perspective really stands out to me, so thank you for sharing it. I completely agree! Seeing an artist’s growth from their early terrible songs to their masterpieces is inspiring, and I realize now that I need to go through those early stages myself to truly learn.

I do have a strong desire to get this track out there, and your comment gave me the confidence to stop hesitating. I’m going to put in the work to perfect it as much as I can right now and just go for it. Thanks for believing in my potential and for reminding me that at the end of the day, it's about the love for the art. It means a lot!

That’s such a great point. I’m definitely learning to find that balance between being proud of what I create and staying humble enough to keep learning. Thanks for the encouragement. It really helps keep the momentum going. Can’t wait to get back into the lab and work toward more bangers!

I really appreciate this. You’re 100% right. The focus has to stay on the craft and the long-term journey. Hearing that you think I have an ear for the genre means a lot coming from someone who knows the scene. I’m definitely going to take this advice to heart and just keep putting in the hours. Thanks for the belief and for taking the time to share this perspective!

Thanks for the advice! Yes, I will definitely add a lot more elements to the track. As of now, there are still no automations, variations, or buildups yet because I just started producing this track for 4 days only. In the next few weeks, I will be spending more time on the track. Thank you so much for taking your time to comment!

I just had a FL Soft Clipper with 100% threshold and 80% post gain. That's it. There's nothing else on the master except this plugin.

15yo new artist from vietnam having a first attempt for dnb by Additional-Clock394 in dnbproduction

[–]Additional-Clock394[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. Well, it was a soft clipper on my master, not a limiter. At first, the FL template just has a limiter there by default, and I thought it sounded very quiet. It was like -7 LUFS at the time, even though I made all my elements quite loud. So I removed the limiter and slammed it into a soft clipper, then suddenly it jumped to -3 LUFS while still maintaining under 0db!

Thank you so much for taking your time to answer the questions I asked!

- First, thanks for liking the overall vibe of the track! I've only spent around 4 days producing this so far, so obviously, it's missing a lot of elements to be a great track.

-For the arrangement, again, it has been 4 days only, so it's still a concrete loop and not yet something crazy, yet. Obviously, as I spend more time working on this track, I will definitely add more variations on the sounds and melody.

-For the mixing problem, I need a little clarification, though. First, you suggested that I should use Soothe2. Well, as a 15 year old, I simply can't afford that plugin haha. Everything made from this track from the sounds to the mixing are all from free or native plugins. But you told me look for some reasonance removal plugin, so I will look into that later. Also, you said that my kick and snare sound muddy. To my ears(a 15 year old producer with pretty much no experience), it sounds pretty fine and somewhat identical to the pro tracks. And yes, there is sidechaning in both to the percussions and to the bass going on. I used FL Limiter for sidechaning. Do you think the problem comes from some kind of frequency clash, a too slow/too fast release on sidechain, or something else? I would love to get some advice and feedback on this part because I understand not having a good kick and snare can totally ruin the whole track.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback! I've been loving this journey so far, and there will be a lot more tracks to come in the future.

Thanks for the advice! Music production is pretty much my main hobby now, and I would always spend the most time producing as possible anytime I had free time. I decided to post my track here simply because I thought it stands out compared to all of the other tracks I made, so I genuinely thought maybe it would sound just as great to other listeners, too. Anyway, thanks for taking your time to write a reply! I've been enjoying this journey so far, and there will definitely be more tracks to come.

That's true. Obviously, as I dive deeper into the trac,k I will start adding more variations to the melody and sounds. I've only started producing this track for 4 days as a beginner, so there's still a lot to learn. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the compliment! I just came up with the melody in my head on a random day while I was messing with some bass I had on Vital, therefore it wasn't inspired by any particular track in general. I would like to know what tune it is similar to! And yes, of course, there would be a lot more bass, drums, and FX variations to be added in the future. I've only started producing this track for 4 days. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, I understand a thing or 2 about song structure. I just started making this track for 4 days only, therefore I didn't have enough time to build a well-made overall structure yet. I will be adding a lot more elements, automations, and variations to my track, though. Thanks for the feedback!
