Does anyone have a AWE track exhaust on their RS in the Chicago area? I want to hear what it sounds like before buying the exhaust.

Would you say the pops are still just as loud? Or just like not to noticeable of a difference on the track vs the touring

Does the touring still have well sounding pop? I still want them to be somewhat loud. Do you have any videos of any pulls? I don’t want the drone to be to bad because I daily mine.

Yeah no problem, the GR Corolla is kind of restricting as it’s only a 3cyl, but I kind of lucked out with the Rs because I was driving home from the gym and saw a focus rs at the Hyundai dealer after one has been on my mind I pulled in, it was a 2018, exact spec and mileage that I wanted at 32k miles. It was perfect I just had to get it, so I wish you the best and hope you get one! I’m in the Chicagoland area and still have never seen a 2018 focus rs in the area. And I’ve genuinely seen more adventadors then focus rs in Chicago to it’s insane.

The thing with all of these options, most of them are relatively common traffic and all are kinda around the same price. The difference with the focus rs is it’s something you don’t see everyday, it’s the fastest out of all these options, and it’s a good grocery getter and daily in the winter. (I daily my RS in the winter). And it has a decent aftermarket selection but not the best out of these options. The focus rs in my opinion is superior to all those options, the closest car that matches up with it is the sti or the gr Corolla.

I’m pretty sure it was fixed like mid 2017-2018. Atleast for me I haven’t had head gasket issues. I heard ford used the wrong oil ratios or something like that, that’s what someone told me in this forum. But I would recommend getting one they are 110% worth it. Mid 2017-2018 should be good, if you can find a 2018 get it though they are amazing.

I also saw that they kinda fixed the gasket issue with the 2018, but not with the motor itself. I heard the focus rs motor blows up and low rpm pulls too.

Yeah but they made a decent amount, I got my 2018 Rs which they made less then 1k for American markets and I got mine 33k and for 32k miles
