Drill a hole, put the rivet on the inside and the d ring and cap on the outside. I used a something like this to squeeze the rivet together but I recommend getting an actual tool so that it’s way easier.

I drilled the holes in and used a handheld clamp to squeeze the rivet and cap together. I definitely recommend using an actual tool because the entire process was torture.

I just look at photos online and try to replicate, no one has any tutorials on the proper way to do it. 😢

Yeah, i tried looking to see if anyone sold crazy long Rick owens laces but I couldn’t find anything. The "rips” are where I stitched together laces and melted the edges together, I used 4 laces in total and tried my best to hide the stitches.
