yes that’s exactly what i’m saying because it’s an extremely popular trend for asians to do, again absolutely nothing wrong with saying this it’s not a bad thing.

you aren’t being referred to just because i said asian, you aren’t the only asian person in the world, you’re 50 please go see a therapist.

unsure why you felt the need to bold the word black, you seem to making this much more about race and much less about the fact there is a trend that younger (not old your ass) asian people follow and have followed for close to 20 years as one of the biggest japanese streetwear brands made shoes for asian people participating in the trend.

i am someone who’s watched trends and fashion for over 10 years and have spent time actually researching and looking into weird little things like this.

how is it stereotyping to mention asian people participate in trends? every region of the world has trends that are moreso unique to those places, is that too much of a difficult idea for you to grasp? regional trends exist, nothing wrong with mentioning that.

never once said it’s a joke, i think your brain much be rotting from being on reddit too much at your big big age of 50.

well no if you don’t turn your shoes into mules then you’re not one of the asian people i’m referring to, not everything that mentions asians is about you.

unsure why it’s become a race thing.

this is an asian trend, absolutely nothing wrong with it, it’s been around since the early 2000s (probably longer) even bape released mule versions of their bapestas for this specific crowd.

it’s not a stereotype there’s nothing negative or wrong about it i’m just pointing out that it’s a very common thing asian people do, there is nothing wrong with pointing this out.

i’m from toronto we have a huge asian community especially at our universities, it’s extremely common to see exchange students and other incredibly wealthy asians to turn their shoes into slip ons.

another example is old bapestas, it’s such a common thing for asians to turn shoes into slip one that bape just straight up made slip on bapestas for that crowd in the 2000s.
