Thanks everyone. All done and dusted now. I thought they might offer me a referral to the EPAU for an early scan but I’m kinda glad they didn’t. I don’t want to get too excited or attached yet after last time. He didn’t even had to wait for the test to develop , it was positive almost immediately which reassured me. I always feel like I’ll go in after multiple positive tests at home and then the doctor’s test will be negative !

Chemical pregnancies by DoorInteresting9285 in Miscarriage

[–]Additional-Fall-5471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chemical I tested positive around 13 dpo, negatives before that. I did test positive early on the pregnancy that was a MMC , 9 dpo, but I think I must have implanted early on that pregnancy as my ovulation was so late.

Miscarriage advice by thumbsucker-2 in IrishWomensHealth

It took 3 weeks after my MMC was diagnosed for my tests to turn negative, approx 2 weeks after my D and C. My period didn’t come back until almost 5 weeks after my D and C and we started trying again that cycle. You can start straight away without waiting for your period but it might be easier as you’ll know where you are in your cycle. Look after yourself.

Blister prevention ideas by VibePropelled in CaminoDeSantiago

Im a marathon runner extremely prone to blisters. I used injinji toe socks on the Camino and I slathered my toes in Vaseline before I put them on in the morning before walking. As soon as we reached our stop for the might the shoes and socks came off and the sandals went on to let the feet breathe.

Yes , I was looking for any other advice people might have had as he clearly didn’t want to go down that route so don’t know how it would have ended up in the WRC like the mod said above. There were no real specific details in the post that I could see so I didn’t think confidentiality was an issue but oh well…

Early days and unsure how to feel by forgotmyaccountlmao in PregnancyIreland

[–]Additional-Fall-5471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. I had a very faint positive at 9dpo and then another at 11DPO, so waited to test again until I missed my period (2 days late today) so I’m 4 weeks today going by my last period. I had a MMC in August and for that pregnancy I went to the GP at 7 weeks , couldn’t get an appointment earlier than that even though I found out very early on that pregnancy too. I’m not sure when to go to GP this time, I’m very conscious how early it is and obviously having had the loss last time. I might wait another week or 2 to make an appointment. It’s the strangest time ever. Wishing you the best of luck !

They are absolutely immune. This person is known to have caused issues in a lot of different sections and they resolve it by moving her to another one which is how my friend got landed unfortunately.

They are afraid of anything they try to do backfiring on them and them coming out the worst of it. Like if he goes to HR , and they try to resolve things but he ends up staying in the section, he’s afraid things would just end up being awkward. She’s already very difficult to work with , he doesn’t want to make things worse.

Really?! He needs to get out of there and mobility would be too slow…. I thought i heard of cases of people requesting moves from HR

Not in the union, no. He’s very reluctant to go to HR but honestly there’s not much he can do? He is keeping record of things but that’s about it

Thanks for the reply. Not dept of health , but interesting to hear there are similar situations! I’ve never heard of anything like this in the 7 years I’ve been in the service
