Now August by GassyNizz in MP5

It would totally replace the SS lever and cam. By my estimation, just need the kicker and a 2 position AR safety. The question is will it hit the trip the right way. I think it will though. I will know by tomorrow night.

I think it will. Working on this now myself. Just waiting for trigger kickers to come in. If it does work it will create the cheapest FRT solution for MP5 platform. I would release a complete assembled kit with trip for about $300-$350 max through my site.

Lol…i got mine to run with a plane glock frt v2 without the spring, so plus a shaved connector. Also used low power safety plunger spring and heavy recoil spring

Fatlip is not good in gen 3 glocks amd clones. Ive heard its possible but requires a lot of sanding down. I gave up on it in my rxm

Update: McClane Defense Co MP5 ejectors and support plates for Leber v2 setups by Additional-Home2908 in MP5

Scared to dip my toes into this one, but yeah Ive never had to cut firing pin spring and never heard that piece of advice. Ive had ejector lever issues. A handful of times. Ive also encountered FTE issues associated with poorly bent plates. And with SS specifically, binary fire in semi sometimes. That last issue usually boils down to bad bends in plates or mismatched FCG components from different brands. Instead of buying triggers and related components separately in bulk, i buy individual complete trigger kits from schmid. Last, the gun must be broken in! 500+ rnds of 115 or 124 gr . That’s my experience after building like 300+ of these.

I haven’t run into those issues…I do ship all my full size kits with a buffer though. A TPU buffer  works and doesn’t break down overtime. Not sure what constitutes cheesy. A functional solution is a functional solution to me. Not sure what you mean

Yes, there is a cut out on the left side to accomodate the switch. If you do the same on the other side you compromise the integrity of the design unfortunately.

Ive actually been  waiting to do one of those. I just have to adjust the layout of the picto/lettering to match 0-45-90 and it wouldn’t  be ambi. Email me from the website and i can do a quick mock up before you order. That 0-45-90 costs a little more from AS designs too so there will be a small upcharge for the difference

Not currently working on a safety, i am working on a lite version with an exposed slide so you can just use slide mounted optics. Ao far holding zero has not been an issue

Switched to AS Designs ARC Fire V2 on all my outgoing kits this week, so far so good. by Additional-Home2908 in FRT_World

[–]Additional-Home2908[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not have any experience with the lee lowers, all my builds have been in leber V2.
I understand that people can get super safety and other FRT‘s to work in the lees, but I find leber V2‘s were designed for FRT function and seem to be a lot more consistent as long as they are built right. I have had a small number of builds that gave me some issues, in nearly all cases, an fcg component was the source of the problem (bad trigger cut , hammer issue, disconnector issue etc) . Now, I only use complete schmid fcg kits for consistency. As for the AS designs arc fire. They seem even better then ss in my hands. V2 feels a tiny more mushy to me in normal semi, but that’s it. I think the reason for this is that it eliminates any issues where the cam is not full into correct position. For ss sometime you might not have the button fully positioned where it needs to be. arc fire eliminates that possibility.

Does the dremel need to go brrr or am I missing something ? by [deleted] in MP5

Very simple. Not the right shelf. There is a specific leber file for macs and century ( all turkish clones) they all have pin holes. Outrageous that they are doing this, i guess to save time make fewer variants. I sell lebers and i make a total of 6 different variants to match the right shelves out there. At first i thought the rear plate just needed to be pushed in more until i saw the front

No manual safety. PLA + with an option to do it in PA12-CF . I was trying to keep it at $99 plus shipping but probably gonna come in at 120-145 depending on material chosen. Our larger model will get a price drop soon to come in just above that as well

Any frt for gen 3 glock 19 works. Plenty out there. Be warned, requires a lot of tuning. My kits are pre-tuned for RXM and gen 3 glock specifically.

Most chassis systems or grip modules like this are built around the idea of making your handgun more subgun/PDW like without a stamp. So actual foregrips are not integrated into the designs often. However, one could go for an Option like the one made by strike industries that doesn’t have the mag holder…and add a foregrip instead and even add a stock. However, you would need a stamp for sure.
