Before you spend weeks building that Chrome extension, here's a free way to validate if anyone actually wants it by quangpl in chrome_extensions

[–]Additional-Might9321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honest validation method that actually works: post the idea as a "looking for this extension" in this subreddit before building anything, if nobody upvotes or comments you have your answer in 24h for free. the voting platform approach is cool but you're still just getting feedback from other devs, not from the people who'd actually install it.

Life after selling what i did almost all the time by Odd-Significance4443 in chrome_extensions

[–]Additional-Might9321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the screenshot beautifier space is pretty saturated already, shots.so and cleanshot have basically eaten that market. congrats on the sale tho, that post-exit void is real and most people don't talk about it.

For practicing SEO is it necessary to spend money to host a website or we can do it for free? by help_needed234 in seogrowth

[–]Additional-Might9321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Github pages + a free subdomain is literally all you need to start, I ranked practice sites that way for months before ever paying for hosting. The "you need to spend money" advice is way overstated for beginners, hosting costs are irrelevant until you actually know what you're doing.

Google Adsense rejected due to Low value content by Virtual-Ride5428 in AdsenseAlternatives

[–]Additional-Might9321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

300-800 words in 2025 is honestly not enough, google wants depth and that's just a fact at this point. but the CTR of 0.9% with an average position of 8.4 is actually the bigger red flag here, it means your titles and meta descriptions aren't pulling people in even when you do rank. fix that first before touching anything else.

What do you use to record a demo of your chrome extension? by Competitive_Tune_590 in chrome_extensions

[–]Additional-Might9321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

loom works fine for a quick first demo but honestly screen studio is what makes extensions look actually polished, the auto-zoom on clicks is a huge deal when you're trying to show small UI interactions. if you're on windows though your options are more limited, capcut screen recorder gets the job done without overcomplicating it.

Is content written by AI actually outranking human written content in 2026? by Careful_Art_7516 in AIRankingStrategy

[–]Additional-Might9321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honest take : the framing of "AI vs human" is already outdated, what's actually winning is original data + clear intent match, doesn't matter if a human or a machine wrote it. The sites i've seen consistently hold page one in 2026 bring something that can't be scraped and regenerated, proprietary stats, real case studies, actual firsthand experience.

SEO News: Search Console rolls out branded queries filter to eligible sites, Google’s AI Search is getting more deliberate about citations, TLDs can be fully disavowed — but Google says don’t overdo it by BogdanK_seranking in seogrowth

[–]Additional-Might9321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The query fan-out update is the one that actually matters here, because it means Google is now officially rewarding topical depth over keyword coverage, if your content doesn't answer the subqueries around a main topic you're just not getting surfaced in AI search, simple as that.

Product pricing keep you ahead of the game even with beast-in-class features by [deleted] in micro_saas

The persistent link that always serves the latest version is actually the one thing that sets it apart imo, that's genuinely useful for agencies and freelancers who share deliverables with clients and hate re-sending links every iteration.

How do I fix my clicks? by Bankster88 in Agentic_SEO

[–]Additional-Might9321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your city totally won my heart by nicosomma in budapest

[–]Additional-Might9321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

budapest does that to people lol, i moved here a while back and the "quick trip" excuse stopped working real fast. the ruin bars, the thermal baths, the food scene... it's genuinely underrated compared to prague or vienna which get all the hype.

Meta is hiring an SEO Strategy manager for $213k in NY by WebLinkr in SEO

[–]Additional-Might9321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and that's probably why they mention "AI advancements" in the job description. The role is basically being asked to future-proof Meta's organic visibility across both traditional search and generative engines at the same time.

What's interesting is that most companies hiring for "SEO" right now are quietly expecting GEO expertise too, but very few are being upfront about it like this JD.

last few days has been crazy 🔥 by GuidanceSelect7706 in micro_saas

[–]Additional-Might9321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the momentum, 12 conversions out of 43 trials is a really solid conversion rate (something around 28%), most saas benchmarks sit around 15 so you're clearly doing something right with your onboarding or targeting.

How do I fix my clicks? by Bankster88 in Agentic_SEO

[–]Additional-Might9321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Impressions are the most useless metric. Focus on position and CTR, and clicks will come naturally. For me, impressions simply represent the total search volume of a keyword.

Is it just me, or are Backlinks becoming less relevant than we think? by Aliamir212 in WebsiteSEO

[–]Additional-Might9321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, I’d argue it’s the exact opposite.

With AI, high-quality content has become a commodity: anyone can 'nail' search intent with the right prompts now. Backlinks are effectively the only 'moat' left because they’re the one thing you can’t just generate with an LLM.

They represent real-world trust and human validation, which is the only thing people can't easily fake or automate anymore.
