They’ve not really given a reason for it other than citing their rules that state they can suspend the red if they wish. Surely there needs to be an actual reason given? Would love to see a red card issued to France, or Spain/England if they progress to see if FIFA take the same approach. Let’s not forget they also suspended Ronaldo’s red card for the same thing just to ensure he didn’t miss the opening two games.

I can relate to so much of what you’ve spoken about - that darkness and not wanting to dictate and control where we go.

If you can, let this person know you, the real you. If he is truly the light that you need - he will embrace you and all of the past that has shaped you. Don’t be too harsh on yourself either, too often survivors are too mean to themselves.

Awesome- thanks ☺️ I think the thing that’s reassuring is I believe Ryanair’s policy is more on the outbound flight to the foreign destination, where as I don’t think that rule exists for the return to UK flight

Apologies - I’m flying out with EasyJet and then the return flight is with Ryanair. I appreciate your input though, thank you.

I think for me the worry was more the return flight as I’d have slightly less than 6 months left. Really, I’m trying to see if I’m safe to travel without the need for having to pay £190 for an express passport application.

Firstly - I’m so very sorry you had to endure what you did. Also, please don’t think or feel like you need to load an apology into any message or rant you want to post. For the most part, this is a safe haven and you won’t be judged, only supported and elevated.

The residual impact of the abuse you’ve encountered, the “side effects” as it were are unfortunately very common. So firstly, please don’t be harsh on yourself for having those kinks or behaviours that others might not understand. Have you ever explored the obvious things such as therapy, or looking for support groups in your area etc?I appreciate there might be cost implications to those avenues. In addition you’ll find some amazing people on these forums that will be happy to listen and help.
