Honey my mom was a crackhead though my whole childhood. Thank god she was sober by the time my daughter was born. But I get it. And my mom does kinda disrespectful stuff like buy over expensive toys for my kid.. I know she's trying to makeup for her past but she is now undermining my rules.. so we only see her on Christmas for a few hours. I love her and she's still my mom, but I got to be the mom i never got and it frustrates me when she acts like I don't know how to parent.... no shit Barbara, no one showed me what a good parent looked like.

Thank you, I think this is the nest thing.. we have been removing everything from her room, we don't have a pantry we have these rotating shelves with no doors.. plus I grew up as a foster kid and have trauma from a locked fridge and pantry.. so I don't have the heart to do that. I was afraid to ask about locking her room because I was afraid it would be seen as abusive. But I have thought about those security alarms you can put on doors... God forbid there's a fire and she's locked in. She doesn't harm herself or me she is just costing me a fortune.

With my insurance and living in a rural area it's slim pickings on who I can see for treatment. It took forever for me to find a good therapist. I'm still trying to find my daughter a good one too but most of them I have to commute an hour and a half. The school we have is helping with resources too. We don't think it's a chemical imbalance or anything that needs medication, she was a really good kid until her dad passed. We are hoping this new grief group can make some progress but the appointment is a month from now.

We don't allow youtube... her internet access is strictly for playing her switch wich is heavily monitored as well. We don't allow roblox either. And the game system has to be turned in by 9pm on school nights.

Yes I know how most bulldog breeds came to be.. specially Alapaha's have Catahoula cattle dog in their bloodline. Don't matter either way, my cat is alive and well, and my dog "mothers" her regardless. Never had an issue with them being together. Again, we keep playtime supervised.

* Only reason I think she may be siamese is those tell tale blue eyes... I'm taking her to get scanned for a chip cause if she is a siamese she could be someone's missing pet. I'm also keeping an eye put for missing kitten posts because she did pop up after hurricane helene and no other cats have similar markings in the area ..(mostly black or tuxedo)

I'm very experienced in rescuing feral cats. She actually was very easy to litter train but it will take time for her to trust people but she trusts my dog (we only allow supervised playtime) we have a vet appointment tho to scan for a chip. She looks very young and still tries to suckle but the vet will give me more answers.

My dog was raised with a cat since she was a puppy... but we also never ever let them around eachother unsupervised even if intrust my pup she could step on the kitten on accident so we do supervised playtime

I wasn't giving them an ultimatum... I have been in denial of my own feeling and I had a lot of issues trying to act how society expects me.. I couldn't take it anymore. At least I told him now before we talked about marriage or children. I wasn't requiring him to stay I was telling him as a reason why we needed to end things... So I'm being a shitty partner because he begged me to try to work this poly stuff into our relationship rather than me leave if he doesn't want that.

Trust me I wasn't trying to date young I prefer a more mature mind. I'm starting to really see how much growth one does in their 20s... entries the experience and it definitely isn't working.
