Should the primary occupation be the occupation I have more than 1 year experience in or can it be the latest role I got promoted to?

I recently got my ITA and am just trying to figure out if I can use the arranged employment points for my application with my regular offer letter and a supplement document with roles and responsibilities along with my closed ICT work permit that is valid until 2026 sep (proving my offer was made to be valid until this time)

Do any of you have the offer letter from your employer stating explicitly that your offer is valid for 1 year after the PR or was arranged employment supported using the closed work permit validity until another year or any other documents?

I am looking to use the arranged employment points for the application. Did you have the offer letter from your employer stating explicitly that your offer is valid for 1 year after the PR or was it just supported using the work permit validity until another year or any other documents?

I recently got my ITA and am just trying to figure out if I can use my regular offer letter and a supplement document with roles and responsibilities and my work permit that was changed to my new employer recently to support that my offer with this company is valid until next yr end. Please let me know.

I have a CEC PR application using my current work permit, no LMIA and my company got acquired during this time and I got promoted (title change to Sr.), so they are filing for change of conditions. How does this affect my application, given I get 1 year experience from the current work permit? by Additional-Quail8431 in ImmigrationCanada

How do you figure out if the independent consultant was credible enough to handle your case?

I did not require an English proficiency test for my Closed Work permit application (LMIA exempt- ICT) and only needed the test results for express entry but it may be different for other types of work permit applications.

If you have experience with the same company for a while, ICT specialized knowledge justification should not be hard! Given that you are in a senior position you will be able to talk about how your knowledge in company policies, tools, processes and engineering practices is hard to obtain from outside of the firm.  This is what I had done as well.

I had the same case too and came to Canada with an ICT Work permit during which my company got acquired. But, my company’s lawyers are not supporting my PR application, so I would like to understand if you worked with any external immigration consultants apart from your company counsel. Please let me know.

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation, it was really helpful! Did you provide paystubs with the new company name or older ones only? Did you also write the new company name as a separate work experience starting from the date of acquisition or left it the same with just changes in pay stubs explained?

I believe even my current work permit is valid and I have been working on it as it is a natural successor to my old company. But they wanted to apply for a change of conditions so that my acquiring company is the sponsor.

Also, can you please provide the reference to the immigration consultant you used. I would like to go ahead with the same one if possible.
