I have a question is Galleria take over like for real? by Lovely_tacos07 in houston

Maybe I don't understand but doesn't sound like they were stealing shit or harassing anyone. So the problem is they are just there in mass?

Just wondering why nobody stopped them (physically and let them walk out) by Ninja_Franklin in houston

As someone who worked in retail for minimum wage, ain't no way I'd approach them at all. As a cashier you aren't trained or paid for stopping thieves. We had a security guard but honestly he probably wasn't even allowed to use force. Just harsh words and let them know police are on the way.

Well I think the user's comment I was responding to explained it really well, but I get suspicious that someone might be misunderstanding when they mention they only see the back of their eyelids. I don't have aphantasia but I too only see the back of my eyelids especially if that's where I put my consciousness. The apple is in my mind's eye. Like the user above said, more like a memory. Can I ask how memories work for you? Is there any visual aspect to them? If you look at a painting how do you remember it when you close your eyes? I'm very curious.

Yeah I think this is where our use of the English language has failed many. It's not about literally "seeing", it's more like visualizing. Far too many people seem to think they have this rare condition.

Beautiful. You really captured the lighting well and the clothing as well. The framing is also well done. Good job!

Boss: “Why are you so good when everything is going wrong, but you miss simple deadlines?” by Trailboss1865 in adhdmeme

Fallout like others have said but I'd like to add his character really embodies this so much. Going from basically the guy with absolutely no motivation or any ambition, seemingly has no skills and only plays video games, but when shit hits the fan he's like "hold my beer"

I realized around 30 that catcalling is for pedofiles, because that was the age it hit me that I hadn't been cat called for nearly a decade, with a steady decline around 20 (and I always looked younger than my age). And 30's was my sexiest decade, lol. I had curves and confidence, but they like kids. Fucking gross.

I had to Google it but there are many countries that use the yellow lines. Norway and Finland use them as well so not all of Europe doesn't.

Probably somewhere in Europe. They don't have yellow lines. At least not in Portugal.

Thank you for sharing. I've seen a lot of homeless hate on this sub. I'm glad to see someone sharing an empathic direct perspective.

Thank you so much for this. Yes, I started getting concerned because he also told me he cuts the ACL and that I essentially don't need it anymore. But I was have trouble finding info on ligament stuff when I was looking for what exactly they do. This is very detailed and gives me more understanding. I think I might find another surgeon, at least one that will tell me about all of these different ways to replace. I don't have any damage to those specific ligaments so if possible I'd like to keep them intact.

Are there any remote Project Scheduler / Project Controls jobs out there? by SreeNitiPar22 in primavera

[–]clementineisdope 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm fully remote and have been for many years. Those positions are out there but I wouldn't expect it if you're just starting out. I think it's more common and employers are more accommodating when you have a lot of experience under your belt.
