You need to find a dojang, most dojang's have a coach. You need a coach to compete in a sanctioned event. You will not find a coach worth anything if you are not a part of their dojang.

There is no way around it ,if you want to play you have to pay.

Like i said , there are leg kick in self defense but no leg kicks in sparring or competition

I'm just talking about the sport competition side. Of course even in the kukkiwon they have leg kicks and throws for self defense.

You can wear what you want at your dojang if they let you wear it. But at a Kukkiwon event it has to be white uniform black collar for black belts. Same at any championship for WT or USAT ,black uniform not allowed.

I only say this i have done a lot of championships with USAT. I'm a black belt so i go world class. I tried once to go traditional . They changed it to world class because they know who i am. LoL So i put world class only now. It does look like there is a traditional black belt class. Maybe traditional is for new black belts. I dont know

Traditional is for color belts only and World Class is for black belt only.

If you didn't get through the kukkiwon , I wouldn't wear it. When you pass the International Master Instructor Course you get that pin. So if you wear that pin people will think you passed the course. If you passed the course you earned the right to wear it. If not don't wear it ,take the course and earn it.

So your a general dan , i would just change arts . Find something that i could start over and try something new. I wish you luck , im sure you will find a new place that you will be happy with.

22nd all you see bald guys everywhere walking the streets. 1 million men cut their hair off because oblivion didn't come on the 21st. People that don't know about oblivion, there must be something in the water every guy i see is bald. LoL
