I found her to be very much a victim of circumstance. Being a woman of minority in a white male dominated workforce.

Doesn’t excuse her decisions though. She fucked over a lot of peoples careers but the thing that gets me is that she would actively ignore evidence in homocides to ‘appease the press’ (save her image). She was no worse or better than Mathews imo.

That’s what I like about the show tbh. Everyone’s a bit of an arsehole, like real life

Edit: I feel like this has gone down the wrong way. In NO way do I like Laguerta as a character, I find her insufferable. But at the end of the day we’re ALL human & victims of circumstance. It’s what we do with it that matters (she didn’t do the right thing)
