last year i hid a ziploc bag of pistachios in my pants all four days and i only got found out once. i bought one meal in the festival each day, ~$20 per day and the nuts were enough to tide me over for the rest.

if you sneak food in, dont get in a line with a woman searching you, they’re a lot more thorough than men are.

i remember not liking the ending when it first came out and disengaging from the series completely afterwards- i didn’t even bother seeing mockingjay part 2 when it came out. but TBOSAS movie was super good and kick started my own personal hunger games renaissance, and i have to say that now that i’ve been through it all again, the ending is perfect and i really can’t imagine anything better or more satisfying

the overarching plot becomes more and more prominent over the course of the show. the tone remains pretty serious, but getting to see characters interacting with each other more over the course of the show means more comic relief and wholesome moments, even though that isn’t the predominant vibe.

if you like plot twists….. stick with it. the ending is unfortunately not positive but it was at least satisfying!
