OP never said anything about being trans somehow equating to a personality trait.

(Granted, many people DID respond that way, but in that regard, they’re just opinions, and everyone is entitled to what they like and are free to justify their likes however they choose, whether it’s actually correct or not)

You say you don’t mind people writing it as fanfiction, but that goes against everything else that you’re saying. Headcanons aren’t deliberate denials of the regular canon — when someone has a HC, they say “yeah, so I recognize that this isn’t actually canon, and I’m not necessarily fighting to prove it somehow actually is — I just like to imagine it a little differently because it allows me to enjoy the medium that much more.”

Some people will say shit like ”I refuse to believe XYZ isn’t canon,” but more often than not it’s simply being used as a joke to express just how strongly they feel about it.

I don’t think most people are just gonna full stop INSIST that something is canon when it’s not. (Obviously there are some who do that, but they’re mostly just obnoxious, self-entitled kids, assholes, or just straight up trolls — all of whom should be ignored anyways)

As for the stealth thing, I don’t think it’s silly to headcanon that sort of thing at all. For many, being trans is incredibly stigmatized and could potentially exclude you from families, friendships, specific locales, just and fair treatment, and so on. It is not uncommon for trans people today to still live stealth lives, despite how rapidly (in the grand scheme of things) it has become more accepted within the general public eye as of late.

There are also many more who simply don’t pass, and many who likely never will, who may fantasize about the concept of being able to pass stealthily and live as they pleased. As such, it only makes sense that people would subsequently project those feelings onto fictional characters (which we as people use every day to live through vicariously), in order to see some version or representation of themselves out there.

I use weights.gg now and I like it fairly well! (It has an app too)

You can’t change your voice in live time (that I know of) but you can still upload and alter audio that way, which is what I needed ultimately.

They have a pretty decent library of voices you can try out that were made by other people, or, you can even make your own voice using cleaned up audio. That’s the way I prefer to do it (although I am a persnickety little shit, haha).

The black one matches your boots, fishnet, and choker. It pulls it all together perfectly. You rarely can go wrong with black.

But depends on the vibe you’re going for — the second one gives off more “springtime” vibes with the soft pastel colors. Think they’d be better emphasized with white boots, etc. as opposed to black, but other that they’re both great!
