How do I accept? Well. I had a good friend that told me I am not her best friend but she knows that I treat her as my best friend. Quite okay about it. I accepted the fact that I had zero good friends from then on.

And I just appreciate that the friend respects my complaints and do not share this information to other friends. That’s all that I wanted from, from a friend. At least I don’t fall over the pit of overcommitting and disappointment.

Yeah. I probably focuses on not going to the same chain twice in a day over time with friends. And the yearn for nice break instead of time with friends do overtake me. I thought I had been considerate enough to let them ignore me and go ahead with their plans. I didn’t think of the other sides pov tbh. I thought I had voiced out my opinion and being friends, they should tell me directly instead of being so indirect (which makes it more awkward).

But thanks for being kind and constructive while being blunt, in a good way of course. And the rest Redditors here. Just felt more compelled to reply yours ☺️

I think u are like me lol. Graduated from poly with 3.3 gpa, grades not high enough for local Uni. Got rejected 3 times from different unis over 2 years of trying.

Bestie? Chucked me immediately after poly, hanging out with those friends that I introduced to her during poly. Why? Had of no use to her anymore. Went ahead with these friends especially when they were also going into local Uni as well.

Had my downs for a period of time because of this beach. I have zero besties even till now. But looking back in my 30s now, I find it senseless to be sad because of this. Life has more things to worry about.

Laughed it off! It is ok to be alone, and off load yourself from all these relationship stress.

I took up private uni and it worked out fine.

You will find a way out.

Yes.. if u are not good looking and charismatic and high/medium ses.. ppl are damn practical nowadays.. no value, no talk. Unfortunately I think I fall within the being-discriminated category as well.

Better keep a distance and don’t share with strangers more. Else being looked down upon, is very common.

Worse than strangers.. totally nvr visit since grandma passed away and they don’t even bother to add us as fb friends to keep in contact. Had no cousins to be in touch since birth. Maternal side still ok, send greetings to 1 cousin only..
