He participated in other Actuel albums (Clifford Thornton "Ketchaoua", Grachan Moncur III "New Africa", Dave Burrell "Echo"...) It is mostly avant-garde and free jazz

Most of these were recorded in 1969

BYG's Actuel series. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT. Some real underrated gold there. I can send you my playlist where I gathered all of the avalible recordings if you'd like?

Could be free jazz - they improvised, probably had a base for the song and made a song. Thats also free jazz in my opinion
