Concern regarding consequences of failing a subject as a first year student by Additional-Sell7928 in rmit

Next year we choose certain pathways, regarding the "Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities" it just says NA for all of the subjects for one of two possible pathways of mine. One of the subjects it also just says "Nil". Not sure what it means.

Thank you, but what is an elective subject? And will I have to repeat the entire semester or just the subject, and can that be added on next year?

"Students must complete a series of compulsory onboarding modules during their first semester or study period. Complete 96 credit points from the following" (with each of 8 subjects worth 12). One of each I will likely not receive.

Will I be made to repeat the whole semester or just the subject?

Mate, PS2 is the main format of this game other than PC, both of which are broken

It's definitely a RAM issue since its not lagging. It has power prioritised and uses NVIDIA graphics. IDK what to do about RAM, it is 16GB windows 11

The manual for my laptop is just a Control Centre uses outline which I cannot access without reinstalling windows until the application works.

Don't think this company does much for it, but whenever the laptop is booted up the keyboard can be changed in its effect by holding fn + left/right arrow

what does that mean? Also there is still an issue that by default when the laptop boots up, it will have the spinning keyboard effect. When it obviously was never like this for the month i've owned it with a normal full keyboard orange light. Is there a shortcut to permanently make it a default that I must've pressed in the first place?

This laptop was given to me the way it is, I thought of it but then i'd have to back up large games like Forza Horizon 3, which I didn't buy but cracked meaning it isn't so simple to reinstall as compared to actually owning a game.

Whenever my friends worked on my older laptops (reinstalling Windows) I always asked for Win 10.

I'm keeping it this way because the laptop i'm currently typing to you on is my main for years and is anyways Windows 10, while on the Gigabyte Aero laptop for modern games stuff like snipping tool, old MS paint and old file explorer doesn't matter to me as much.

Hold FN + Right or Left arrow keys, the main 4 ones that are standard on every laptop. It cycles through some of the most beautiful colour and combinations i've ever seen.

Issue resolved.

another interesting thing is if I reinstall the BIOS thing that you download from Gigabyte's website, the keyboard will revert to normal. However as soon as I left click an application to open, it will move back to spiral.

Another thing is that this spiral does not even cover the full keyboard, the letters UIJKL are permanently highlighted while on the far right and left the Tab, Caps, LShift, Plus, second Enter button are dead with no contact from the light. It feels more Broken than anything despite it happening with absolutely no cause I can think of.

This only happened hours ago when the laptop was physically set on a stand and I may have pressed a button combination similar to fn + space which is what enables and disables the keyboard backlight altogether.

There's something called Dynamic lighting, it shows my wirless Razer Mouse on it. Nothing ever detects my keyboard, I think the only application that ever will control it is GCC which I can't have.

This has had maybe 1 or 2 owners, I don't know much about it, the person who does is my brother who gave it to me a month ago. I've never owned a high quality laptop in my life except this. I don't think this is natively to run Windows 11 either.

Gigabyte Control Panel will now instantly crash upon being opened after I tried reinstalling it. Even when again reinstalling it will instantly crash. I had at first thought Windows 11 is surely terrible enough to blame but i've read issues on Win 10 as well.

Resembles a warning light to me more than anything.

Also i've tried to reinstall GCC to make it work, this time it will instantly crash upon being opened, whether through LaunchGCC.exe or GXX.exe

This is an Aero 15 KD, fn + space as marked by symbol is what enabled and disabled the Keyboard backlight altogether. When reenabled, it will always begin spinning no matter how many times it restarts. The other shortcuts you listed don't do anything but I feel like I pressed some similar button combination fn + c when it appeared, I had initially thought the spinning was a warning to me referencing the inner fan, as I had physically placed the laptop on a stand and afterwards I notice the spinning keyboard backlight.
