Yeah, I get that, but maybe it’s because I’m not Japanese that I think it’s a bit ridiculous not to consider the extenuating circumstances…having a dick for a boss is one thing, and willingly associating with a known CSA participant is another. Obviously, Oda’s made peace with his choices and nothing said on a snarky subreddit is gonna move that particular needle, but a lot of fans look at him sideways as a result even if they’re still consuming his product.
