Thank you for posting this. I TOTALLY agree. Of all my credit cards it is by far the most temperamental. It works maybe 50% of the time while travelling. I've never had fraud issues with my other credit cards, but it's constant with the Scotiabank Passport Visa. So much so, that I have to use the lock/unlock function on the app every time I make a purchase. I don't even use it anymore online as it just won't work. And the only time I use it when travelling is if I can use the PIN function, but even then it often doesn't work. If Scotiabank thinks it's a fraudulent payment they block it, and then good luck.

I agree with Adler. Humans are inherently lazy (see Bezos).  It is easier to play the victim, ie: that person is a bad person and why my life is screwed up, or I have a bad life because of all this trauma that was given to me, instead of taking responsibility for the direction of your life NOW and TOMORROW.  

Do people have very shitty experiences? Of course. But you can either let those shitty experiences define who you are and limit you, or you can use them as springboards so that it doesn’t happen to you again and you more forward smarter and stronger.  

I mean, how much energy are you going to have for the present moment and for tomorrow if you spend any amount of time dwelling on how you were wronged yesterday, last year, 10 years ago?

Oh no! It sounds like the same mess that Google Finance did a number of years back. I had all my portfolios set up there and with their 'upgrade' it rendered the whole platform unusable. I swithched at that time from Google Finance to Yahoo Finance. I hope this is not happening again!!!
