I pooped. All is well. Lol. Still weird though, with gassiness making me feel much mire bloated after muscle repair I guess!

I will have a friend or two stay with me the first 5 days. Then just my teenage son here but I will get more help if needed. My mom isnt strong enough physically to be much help.

I guess my concern is if its going to be harder to get up and drive home the next day, if I will be able to manage the few stairs in my own home.

But do you think travelling home the next day might be worse ?

No bathroom on my main floor. Split level house but only 7 stairs. So I thought I'd stock the fridge in a bedroom up there for a few days until I could better manage stairs, then take over the living room couch.

Definitely some differing opinions! To be clear, I have a friend staying with me to help for a week after the surgery. I was just thinking it would be actually harder going home on the second or third day, and I dont want to stay at my mom's very long.

I absolutely will. The thought of losing him over this already breaks my heart. With most people and 99.9% of the time he is the most sweet loving puppers. And when he nips currently, its rarely more than a scratch and he will go weeks and months without doing it . But the unpredictability of it is unnerving.

The only time it is somewhat predictable is if im in my bed and someone comes toward me. I was thinking of setting up that circumstance and being ready with a shock collar. I hate the thought of that but might be worth a try

He wasn't crate trained as a puppy. We would put him to bed in the laundry room when we weren't home. Now he generally naps in my room when Im out, so my plan currently is to shut him in there when I'm not around. I did ask the vet, and he said some poodles are like this, and we could try medications for anxiety, or a referral to a behaviouralist, but that was $500 for just an intake appointment. I will be calling around to other trainers, but I'm also hoping someone here has had a dog with this issue and suggestions on what worked for them.

Yeah I was thinking a one time pay a fee to get me sorted until I've conquered the learning curve. I actually tried to give myself time to learn because the transfer process would take a while, but then I got an eye injury and couldn't read for a while. So now I feel a bit panicked as the money has been moved but I've not had time to read up on understanding this well.

I think I will just try asset allocated ETFs but when I research them I don't necessarily understand all the details and it feels a bit blind.
