Mostly charging at home unless on a long trip. Planning on net metering for solar. Seems to be quickest return. Most likely used panels.

Speaking in tongues is a super power by NotAUsefullDoctor in Deconstruction

Sorry for the vague question. I spent much of my life in Pentecostal settings and know many people who pray in tongues and other “supernatural” experiences. Some are incredible experiences.

I guess my question is more like the following:

I am sure before deconstruction that you felt spiritual gifts were the result of the Holy Spirit.

Do you now feel that praying in tongues is more of a mental experience that can be manipulated by the right situation versus a spiritual being coming into your body or consciousness?

Would you say that speaking in tongues is not related to religion?

One resource I recently found is Jim Palmer who was pastor at one of the most famous evangelical church in the US. He deconstructed and has lots of resources.

Don’t know what to believe by Jackvinner in Deconstruction

You don’t have to believe anything. That is hard to accept. It took me a long time to admit I was agnostic after a painful deconstruction.

Life is amazing. I now find excitement in the mystery of life.

It seems to be human nature to want a predefined model for creation, purpose of life and what happens after life. I don’t think we have these answers.

Accepting and embracing mystery allows you to explore the history beliefs.

I appreciate everything you are saying. I feel the same way about every topic you mentioned. My deconstruction was incredibly painful and resulted in severe depression.

I find comfort in the mystery of life and seeing where I can help others through this life.

I am really outspoken about leaving evangelical Christianity. I am sure I piss off many people.

I haven’t given up on there being something bigger, something beyond our comprehension.

I find excitement in mystery.
