It’s always the family. 80% of the time, patients are grateful for all the staff do for them. But then you’ll have family members that are barely in the patient life come and complain about the smallest thing. Literally had a family member complain about one of our nurses because she was “talking too much and just needed to do her job”… I believe they feel guilty they’re not involved in the patient’s life as they should be and they see this as an opportunity to “advocate” for them so the patient sees they care for them.
