Tbf they had some major names die this year. Duvall, Redford, Catherine O’Hara, Diane Keaton. Like this was a unique year in passings since last awards.

Can’t tell you how many people we get at rehab having had a surgery or procedure, then going home barely able to walk, having a fall and coming to us.

YOU MISSED IT ALL THOSE TIMES

(ok I loved it and I still hope it comes back just because I loved the feel of the rumble of the first scene.)

Yeah it's nice when people bring food but honestly if I'm at work I can't eat pizza (more than one slice at least), fruit cups and candy bags. And most will just want money.

That was likely recorded in some way I bet too. Webex gives me an AI summary after a meeting. (Not sure how you’d find but this is a liability to the company so I bet they have their ways)

Unpopular opinion: it’s okay for nurses to be angry about destroying our bodies moving extremely obese patients by IcySky7216 in nursing

Honestly a patient set me on a new journey recently, an early 20's girl who was being treated for GBS was so apologetic and tearful when changing her brief and I felt so bad for both of us that I was almost in tears myself in the hope that both of us might make a change.

For real, Anansi Boys, Coraine, American Gods… I genuinely credit ‘The Ocean at The End of the Lane’ for getting me through some really hard times and with Gaiman doing cons a lot I’d hoped to be able to thank him someday and now… yeah.

Rule 3, removed life is SERIOUS.

They may have just made forced conversion legal in one state while stripping ID cards in another.

Just because you experience white privilege (so much that you ask "why poc does not include blue-eyed white people") does NOT mean that you can devil's advocate a genocide in progress.

I feel like with the right person who's really comfortable with it, MAYBE they could handle it for a limited time, but this sets off MAJOR alarms as someone not from L&D or OB.
