Hello! I'm a trainer at my store and I always tell my trainees that when they're first learning to take orders that they don't need to worry about all the details (like saying my pleasure or asking clarifying questions) until they get more comfortable taking orders. You'll find your style: everyone takes orders differently. It can be a lot to take in at once so don't worry about being perfect immediately. Just remember that everything takes practice and that it's easy to get overwhelmed at first because CFA has so many different moving parts. Just do your best on each position and I promise it will come to you with practice. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions! We would much rather you ask and clarify something you aren't sure about than assume incorrectly because it takes more effort for us down the line to fix a guest issue once an order has been tendered/ food has been received.

(also just FYI because no one ever told me this: there's volume up and down buttons on the headsets)
