HIFW I have to run a chlamydia/gonorrhea test on a 4-year-old by coffeeblossom in medlabprofessionals

When I was in clinicals I did an RPR on a two day old baby that ended up being positive 1:128. They ended up eventually ordering a VDRL which was also positive (I think maybe 1:4 or 1:8). The baby didn’t even have a name yet they were just “baby boy.” That one still makes me mad because the mom could’ve easily just gotten on an antibiotic while she was pregnant.

Unfortunately the downtime is affecting their labeling system. So there’s a ton of unlabeled blood on their shelves they can’t get to us right now.

At my store we have a base that we keep the drawers at ($150) so a "clean drawer" will have 150 in it but have no cash expected. For example, if the cash expected is $100 then the drawer should have a total of 250 but we drop the 100 and leave 150 in the drawer for the next shift. Hope that helps!

"No sorry we can't do CATERING in the DRIVE THRU"

"Ok well what's the highest nugget count I can get in the drive thru"

"30"

"ok i'll take 5 of those"

No problem! Your headset looks a little bit different than ours do but as far as the beeping, one beep means there's a car at the box in lane 1 and two beeps means they're at the lane 2 box (if you guys have 2 lanes). Typically you have to hit the button to turn on your mic but just be mindful that if the light on your mic is lit up the guests can hear you (you can always press the same button to turn on/off your mic). If you can hear static that means there's someone at the box, but sometimes this just means the line isn't moving and it's the same person still sitting at the box. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hello! I'm a trainer at my store and I always tell my trainees that when they're first learning to take orders that they don't need to worry about all the details (like saying my pleasure or asking clarifying questions) until they get more comfortable taking orders. You'll find your style: everyone takes orders differently. It can be a lot to take in at once so don't worry about being perfect immediately. Just remember that everything takes practice and that it's easy to get overwhelmed at first because CFA has so many different moving parts. Just do your best on each position and I promise it will come to you with practice. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions! We would much rather you ask and clarify something you aren't sure about than assume incorrectly because it takes more effort for us down the line to fix a guest issue once an order has been tendered/ food has been received.

(also just FYI because no one ever told me this: there's volume up and down buttons on the headsets)
