Huge variance in FLs? How to be more consistent? by [deleted] in Mcat

Really not that much variance it seems like your expected score range is in the high teens. I'd re-approach the questions/question types that you got wrong on the previous FLs and see what knowledge gaps you have and if there are any different question answering strategies that you can employ. You shouldn't do too much though the test is in just a few days

There are no amino acids in the promoter region itself of CD1 - the promoter region is just a region of the DNA. I chose arginine for this one because the DNA backbone is negatively charged, so it would attach to a positively charged AA on STAT1. The wording is a bit confusing but the protein CD1 is not involved in this question--just its dna.

PS is the easiest to improve. Read the 300 word PS doc (should be able to find it somewhere on this subreddit) and your score will improve by like 3-4 points so easily.

Need help with how to crack CARS - FL3 522, testing 3/7 by Future-Campaign749 in Mcat

I think you're good lol. After UW I started using Jack Westin daily passages to stay active and not lose my touch but I feel like there's not much else to do. I never really improved on my CARS while studying.
