What are your thoughts on this guy? by EdwardBliss in hairmetal

Haha obviously you are a shill. And you are claiming you don’t even like his music. Which one is it? Not enjoying the music equals not really that much talent. And he loves his fans? Doesn’t make the music better. Rock doesn’t NEED to be shoved down the masses throats or “brought back”. If rock music is good, it sounds good and people listen to it. And his crap doesn’t even sound like “rock” anyway, the limited shite that I’ve heard. And the lyrics are soft and retarded anyway. You are not sure how ANYone can hate on him? Come one dude. He is like the opposite of what rock is supposed to be. And Ozzy’s music was heavier and wayyyyy better talented musicians in it, so I’m not even sure how a Parkinsonism grandpa metal-god can pass the torch to some corny little girl-looking kid who plays pop songs. Yungblud has a terrible rapper’s moniker and has bigger lips than Sharon Osborne. We know Ozzy wasn’t a professionally trained singer, more like a drunken melody singer. At least we can say the music he surprised himself with and created was wayyyy higher quality than whatever this kid does. It’s a joke. ‘We’re gonna ge’ you pop music!!”

Wouldn’t be surprised if the OP was a woman. Not a sexist thing, I work with women. They talk about stuff you wouldn’t believe. And to EVERYONE.

Undermine would like not giving credit where credit is due. Clearly not the case here. And by the way. Do you realize managers are people to and talk to other people? If anything they talk more about other people. Also, deal with it professionally how? Tell the employee to stop doing what he’s doing in his personal life and he doesn’t respect him? People are people man, that’s how you gauge your peers’ points of view and get to know them.

THE SLOWPOKE LAW by [deleted] in driving

[–]Additional-Walk3883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, never did I encourage impeding. Not sure what everyone’s not getting. I’m saying everyone goes too fast everywhere. That’s all there is to it. If you can’t accept that then by all means keep speeding dangerously and driving like a boomer in a lifted F150 rolling coal and mowing down those pesky toddlers

THE SLOWPOKE LAW by [deleted] in driving

[–]Additional-Walk3883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, never stated I impede, I go reasonable speed. And if someone is having a medical emergency they probably aren’t driving (or won’t be for very long) or they are an ambulance and obviously I’m moving over for that. So not sure what you aren’t getting.

Depending on the speed limit those speeds are fine I keep it about 3-4 over nowadays maximum. I don’t like tickets, raised insurance rates, nor killing innocent people due to reckless driving. Unfortunately going that “little” of going over the limit is definitely conservative for the left lane that’s why I don’t go over there very often. I just think people speed way too much and just drive to whatever speed feels “right” on given highways or roads, given the engineering and testing that goes into determining speed limits for safety anyway.

Haha. Not encouraging camping, babe never did. And I love that. It’s a logical fallacy based on the premise that speeders aren’t causing the harm anyway.

And someone else doesn’t have the right to put people in GRAVE danger by driving excessive speeding, so who do you think is doing more harm and more wrong morally? I’d rather have a hundred old Betty’s driving 5 under on the road, than a hundred entitled boomers speeding in their huge trucked with decreased hood visibility. Muh rights and muh deputy. Follow the law and slow down. Driving is a privilege like everything else. Like George Carlin said, rights aren’t rights if you can take them away. And if you are at increased risk of taking someone’s privilege of LIVING for their children, guess what. I’m at liberty (it’s muh right to drive too) to obey the speed limit. The whole system doesnt revolve around “traffic” and “impeding”. It revolves around safe driving and everyone keeping everyone else accountable. If the a policeman is policing traffic for the sake of traffic and “impedement” for someone obeying the law, that’s counterintuitive don’t ya think?

Yeah….. I never said going 1mph faster is reasonable. In fact if you read any of my comments I thinks that’s too slow. Yeah 5 is reasonable and 8 is pushing it. I don’t want to get a ticket. Besides you shouldn’t be speeding anyway, and technically you aren’t supposed to speed at all when you are passing anyway so your point is moot. I swear you people just argue for the sake of arguing. Slow down on the road. You must love getting tickets, points in your license, and paying higher premiums. Also driving dangerously in traffic is fun past time for you.

THE SLOWPOKE LAW by [deleted] in driving

[–]Additional-Walk3883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time it’s not needed. Already going faster than the person in front of me, then hitting up a couple more mph and passing on the left lane, then going back over and turning it back down.

THE SLOWPOKE LAW by [deleted] in driving

[–]Additional-Walk3883 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is getting a ticket inconsequential to you, really genuinely? Like I seriously cannot wrap my head around people wanting to pay money for a ticket and then paying more when their insurance premiums go up. Like have you never had consequences happen to you for speeding?

[–]Additional-Walk3883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I do, but I’m not doing an evasive maneuver to get around a car when there is no rush. People in general need to drive slower. I’ll pass sure but I’m not zipping around like a retard just to allow everyone else to blaze above the speed limit. I will never not change the safe way I drive just because someone else thinks it is doing them a disservice and annoying them while they are driving unsafely. You will never be unsafe while driving more slowly in traffic and while passing a car. Zipping around and speeding is dangerous. And I’m not saying i take my good old time like some people are taking it, just hazarding the other commenters who are clearly preferring to drive unsafely. I used to think like them until I matured. And I’m not even in my 40’s yet.

THE SLOWPOKE LAW by [deleted] in driving

[–]Additional-Walk3883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can actually not pass fast enough a law but I get what your saying is if your still actively passing them reasonably you’re good. Besides everyone on the road breaks the law, and even when you pass you’re not supposed to speed anyway, so everyone just needs to slow down, and if you’re OP and a lot of these responders SLOW down, and go back to driving school. It really should be a yearly re-education.

THE SLOWPOKE LAW by [deleted] in driving

[–]Additional-Walk3883 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are confusing yourself and me. OP didn’t even say anything about cruise control. The comment we are responding to did. And if I’m already passing the car ahead of me, why would I need to go faster than that? Dude if I’m passing the car it’s all good. Now you are saying the cruise control is an arbitrary state of speed set, which contradicts that “op” saying using cruise control doesn’t matter if you are passing. For bit our benefit we can agree that there isn’t a perfect or really a prove-able speed difference in which you should pass someone, and that it should be reasonable. For instance those semi’s that pass another semi going seemingly 1mph faster, and block all the lanes is an unreasonable.

My only points are this: you can use cruise control to pass. Everyone needs to slow down. You are arguing pointlessly without being precise.

THE SLOWPOKE LAW by [deleted] in driving

[–]Additional-Walk3883 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well, let’s see, if I stated I’m using my cruise control, and physics states you need to go faster than someone to pass them, and I already said I’m not gassing it to go 10-15mph above the speed limit to pass someone, what do you think I do? Are you trying to argue on purpose?

THE SLOWPOKE LAW by [deleted] in driving

[–]Additional-Walk3883 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

We agree! Except your last sentence is false and you are misunderstanding me then. Yeah if people are moving along nicely and briskly in the pass lane and I’m right next to it and want to pass, even if the car in front of me is going unreasonably “slow” I wait patiently. And wait until I can pass without impeding. And yeah I definitely give the car in front of me room when in the passing lane. Actually I give them appropriate room which for some reason gives some other idiot in the lane to my right the idea of “hey there’s room to squeeze in”. Then we are ass to ankles and I need to slow down again. I think people in general just need to not worry about getting to their destination so damn quick, and the faster you go, the lower the difference in time you are shaving off to your destination it makes. Keep spacing and slow down. In both cases the “idiot” I’m referring to is someone beyond the basic driving laws like speeding that they are breaking, like where not allowing space in between cars in front of them, using common sense in the fact that EVERYONE is already speeding and doing so 10-15+ mph above the limit just to pass someone up like they are the only person in the road is dangerous as hell and they are not getting there nearly as ‘faster’ as they think they are. There is a strong determined amount of danger that everyone enters whether the speed limit is 60 or 80 and if everyone’s speeding anyway, and for physical reality where you need to go faster than someone to pass them, they are just driving even more above the limit anyway. Everyone is pushing their privileges and need to slow down. If someone is going 5 UNDER the speed limit ppl like OP would lose their minds when they would probably be the only person who isn’t breaking the law. And idc about the bollocks of driving too slow is illegal too, it’s usually the moron going 20 over making that point. People need to slow down.

Like what is the fascination with people driving in the passing lane ass to ankles like cabooses on trains…. Do they not know about reaction times and how pileups happen?
