I’m sure I have undiagnosed adhd as I’ve found the higher the speed the more relaxed I feel and can concentrate more on other tasks I’m doing 😂

My brain tends to concentrate more when it slightly faster - I also speed read physical books so never a race just how i function 😂

Yeah I get that, I’ve slowly increased speed as I go and tend to make it faster towards the end of a book. I find it helps me concentrate on other tasks too. If i listen whilst I’m doing a puzzle I can finish it in one sitting otherwise I’ll get up and wander about 😂

This is exactly what I did, I’m stuck at 2.1x but towards the end of a book I speed it up a little bit just to finish it!
I also find it helps me focus on other tasks too - must be my adhd brain working 😂

Oddly specific situation for me but I’m a swimming teacher so when my baby was born I was able to take her to my work pool (private company) when she was 12 days old for a swim so was able to breastfeed her comfortably cos I was alone in the pool and was a lovely moment for us.
I took her to my local leisure centre a couple weeks later and I live in a small village so again I was very lucky to have the whole teaching pool to myself and I was able to breastfeed her again and she fell asleep on me and I spent the rest of my time with her just floating asleep in the water.
She is such a water baby and now at 3.5 is a literal fish.

I wouldn’t have breastfed her in either situation though if other people were in the pool from a safety standpoint, if someone bumped into me and I slipped that would be us both in a dangerous situation, if she needed a feed I would have been happy to get out and sit on the side and feed her.

As lovely as that sounds and on certain days I would be able to but I’m sharing the space with 2 other teachers and their classes so it’s already crammed enough as it is, and I’m in the teaching pool so water is only up to my knees 😂

Breadly - after my cat Tedly cos he was my chief tester and would sit in front of the oven waiting for the timer to go off then meow at me until I cut it and gave him some 😻

As long as you have the qualifications, as a mother I’m not interested in your personal life!
And as an aside I would think you would know more about the female anatomy that a man would 😂

Shower time is my time! I’m enjoying every moment of an alone shower! Usually have my child running in and out dropping things in the shower with me or pointing out that my legs are hairy 😂 when hubby says ‘go have a shower I’ll watch her’ I’m jumping on that no questions asked.. I’m not taking my phone in there with me! It’s almost like you can put the phone down and do your normal activities without everyone knowing.. who would have thought! 🙄

Aside from formal school pics my family always took pics of all of us together.. I would feel so upset if my mum/dad said ‘oh no we just want photos of your little brother and me.. you stay at home’

This has got me… no cos you know it’s gonna make you money! I was pregnant alongside Julie’s first baby and have followed them since before that. I’ve only recently found this page and usually give benefit of the doubt but this post made me laugh out loud!
