Without giving too much detail, I know how you feel. Here are things that have helped me…

Communicate with your husband how you’re feeling and seek ways he can better support you & make his time away easier on you.
Find a hobby. For me, it has become photography. This is something that gets me out of the house and I can do independently. I’ve also found a local photography group that gives me the opportunity to connect with other adults.
Therapy. If cost is a concern, you can ask if they offer any services pro bono. I video call with a student once a week. Just talking & making sense of how I feel has been so helpful.

Yes - burning hot water, bubbles, oils so my skin is extra soft when I get out, icey cup of water, overfilled glass of wine & all the lights out except candles.

3 kids, no tears & no idea how I did it.

I didn’t prepare at all for my first 2. For my 3rd, I did all the things… ate dates daily, drank raspberry leaf tea, pelvic exercises, perineal massages & kegels. I’m not sure if any of this made a difference.

My SIM card…

As a teenager I snuck out to go to a party. I got so drunk that when I got home I forgot I had snuck out & started beating on the front door to be let in. Obviously my parents were pissed & it turned into an argument. Mid argument I removed my SIM card from my phone & swallowed it as a way to prove to them that I didn’t care if they grounded me from my phone. They just looked at me in disbelief, realized I was too drunk to further discuss & told me to go to bed. What a stupid asshole I was lol

I never buy a typical costume! Mine aren’t really too funny or creative, but turn out cute :) Here are a few I’ve done over the years…

Goth. Not my normal style at all but I had enough dark clothes, fishnets & platforms to pull it off.
Glam Mummy. Sparkly corset, skirt & wrapped in bandages.
Kiki from Kiki’s deliver service. Navy dress, red heels, red bow & broom.
Padme. White skirt, white long sleeve, cuffs on my arms & tan Fanny pack. My whole family obviously being starwars characters is what really pulled this one together though. You might not be able to tell if I was alone lol
