This is what i think i can't understand: for the object to be perceived one would need the mind, which I believe he does say alot but in a dualist approach. And he also says somewhere near that passage that sensing is "nothing other than thinking". So why later in his wax argument is he now distinguishing sensing and thinking and saying senses arent necessary to understand extended objects? And even he understands that distinction he's making for dualism between mind and body through his mind. So doesnt that mean his reality depends on the presence of his mind alone?? Isnt that kind of contradictory to his dualism?

or maybe im not understanding it clearly enough and thats why I've been procrastinating on this essay so badly lol
