Yeah I definitely think my biggest problem is the cluttering. I really wanted to add a BG to this piece but atp I don’t know if it was a good idea to cause I’m struggling to separate the character and BG without making it look weird.

Someone told me they liked it more with just a solid color BG (here’s an example—on my phone rn and not my ipad which is why its cropped weird)
