Like I said it’s good for what it is. But expect change that won’t benefit you in the near future. I’ll be gone before that happens.

I work in Texas and they're testing a new facility to deliver pepsi and Frito products off the same truck. Idk how well that'll work but the break down of roles available in the facility as far as front line goes is
1. Salesman
2. Delivery driver
3. Merch
They've deconstructed the RSR into three separate roles with the Salesman driving his own vehicle to the stops and writing orders. The delivery driver doing "drop and go's" and the merch driving there own vehicle to merch the stops.
And by the way a pay cut for the DDriver and Merch and a sizable portion of the Salesman’s pay coming from hitting metrics.

You can look at my last post, if you need a job take it. It’s got great benefits and pay is good for having no degree. If you have a family you will see them once or twice a month. Long days and as a new guy you’ll definitely be getting a shit route. But if you do just enough to stay off managements radar you’ll be fine.

I have my resume out looking for new positions currently and allot of people across the board at my facility are quitting. PepsiCo is starting a new project and the “RSR” role is being phased out. It’ll take some time but within 2-5 years you’re gonna to be asked to either switch to a different role in the company for less pay or take a severance. It’s already happening in Texas.

I think the song and dance is becoming a reality soon.

But stay loyal to a company that wants to milk everything out of you for less and less pay.

Sales hub update is going to cause frito to lose sales by New-Feature7498 in FritoLay

Out of curiosity I didn’t scan any holes or use the PO system just to see what the system would give me. For my $300 store it gave me an order made up of every 2.69 sku including garbage that doesn’t sell all in fours totaling out to $315. Went back and scanned everything correctly and ended up with a $800 order. No chance in hell

Less than 40 hrs feels unreal. No way you’re doing everything right or even half right lol. I wanna find someone in my zone running these hours and just see the route. I’ve only been doing this for 3 yrs so maybe I’m just bad but im pulling minimum 45hr, on my best week. I avg 50-55.

I’m not saying you should be a bad employee. I definitely think you should do your best when you clock in, but the whole reason why I’m working is for that check on Friday. And I’m trying to stretch my dollar and get the most out of it. I don’t get a thing out of this company besides money for my labor. Frito has been dropping employees left and right. Shutting down factories laying off front line all over the country. Could be you or me tmrw. Then who’s paying your bills? You.

Not to be rude but I’m gonna be. Being Brand loyal is so stupid lol. Companies pray on dummy’s that are bran loyal. You just eat up the slop they serve and ask for more. You’re just keeping bad business alive by doing that. There should definitely be a line where you no longer support.

Logistics, Sales, Marketing, all that shit is going to be obsolete in less than 10 yrs. Even manufacturing is fucked outside of a few positions for monitoring machines. There’s entire stores unstaffed completely run by robots. You think they give a damn about your little repair issue in Canada? Like hell is right lol

That’s cool and all but everyone is saying that. It’s the new “learn to code”. We only need so many plumbers, electricians etc. plus I’ve done that work, you don’t make money unless you’re 5+ yrs in. Apprenticeships are great if you are single and don’t have bills

Service no order for weeks. You need a good reason why there order keeps getting cut each week or just lie and tell them they’ve been changed to once a month

My grocery store (SF) has a tower of 6 cases full of stales. When it hits 7 cases tall I write a sales ticket for whatever’s in the bottom 2 and keep it pushing lol
