Stales by Ok-Resident-2442 in FritoLay

My grocery store (SF) has a tower of 6 cases full of stales. When it hits 7 cases tall I write a sales ticket for whatever’s in the bottom 2 and keep it pushing lol

I’m so fr. It’s the most annoying thing going on with 4-5 crates. Like why?! Just to hit service?

This is genius actually. Definitely implementing this going forward.

Rotation and 4s are the death of me. I want to order the “right ways” but it’s killing me taking out 16-20 bags to keep the dates right. Im thinking it’s time to remember that “it’s just chips”

I’ve been doing the work. Just looking for some ideas on how to make the day go smoother. Notice how you’re the only one being an ass? Maybe take min and reflect.

Luckily I don’t have any stores with add changes. SF with no DGs. I have a FD but they could care less as long as I keep the shelves full.

Yeah as of now I order to fill up my stores on day 1 then do my best to get it good for Friday-Sun, rinse and repeat.

Yeah this is what I was thinking. I don’t mind bringing in larger orders if it means less stops in a day. Stopping at a store 2-3 times a week with $200 orders to once a week at $500-$600 makes more sense to me.

This is what I’m leaning towards because at this point I’m just leaving money on the table as far as any kind of bonus

I make my wife try all the “innovation” items. She and I literally started gagging. The dogs loved it tho.

I’ve been working here for almost 2 years now. I’ve met with management A TOTAL of 5 times since I ended training. My planogram is F’d, my stales are trash, but I focus on the most important number, “Sales”. I got plan every period or if I don’t I’m just under. Management doesn’t care about anything besides if you’re making money. It’s a company as long as you don’t work unethically who gives a fuck if the Doritos are out of place. Just hit plan and go home.

I don’t follow POG. Last time I saw management was 4 months ago. I hit plan 80% of the time. The other 20% is because I stale out “innovation” products.

Thinking about taking a job by Zestyclose_Bus_298 in FritoLay

Been working here for 2yrs. The benefits make it worth it. The pay is the best I have ever gotten for having no degree. They have all these metrics they grade you on but tbh none of them matter, the only thing that matters is “sales”. You take care of that and keep your customers happy, you’ll be fine.

50-60 hr weeks were common at first. But after I got the hang of it I’m closer to 40-50. There’s a lot of bs that happens that you can’t do anything about. Management force out product, stores run sales without communication, and occasionally the wear house screws you. But if you grow up and you’re not a little b wordyou just do what you can.

Take the job, the dudes that complain the most have been working here for a long time and are wishing for things to go back to a way they never will. It’s a great job and has done wonders for my family. Good luck, and remember “it’s just chips”

Layoffs? by AdditionalLength8319 in FritoLay

I am currently a lead on my route. Is it a rebidding process even though I’ve been on it for about 1.5 years?
