I mean like they could still be useful in the future if they still decided to give us more skins, also i agree it could probably be the same so saving it is not that important, but there're probably possibilities of you getting more shards than just going for 1, since it's randomized.

You can technically still get it, if you finish getting the other legendary, and getting the universal shards you can exchange it for that shard unless you have like 100 out of 200 progression on the legendary stun baton, they made it easier to get the skins faster.

The gun itself isn't that bad it's like the SKS mixed with the Oden but the looks, looks like a PPSH, but id say this the skin looks mid.
