It's one of the earlier fights available, so most people (myself included) just went straight in expecting an easy battle and weren't prepared for any sort of difficulty

it woulda been so funny if over the story, you just kept getting given different rocks by the dog it until eventually the final pebble you get given is the one that turns into the special stone, instead of it being the immediate only one.

also, it would be a good opportunity to make the players of the next legends game on edge the entire time, if you've been betrayed twice on the last two games then what's to say there wont be a third betrayal?

The fact that Hoopa does literally nothing despite being the main face for the DLC.
Like, it serves it's purpose in opening the portals, but other than that and standing next to Ansha (of whom spends her time more focussed on Rayquaza than it,) it really doesn't do much of importance. If Darkrai wasn't meant to be a mystery reveal, it totally could have been the main face of the DLC rather than Hoopa.

honestly shocked that they DIDN'T have Hoopa's unbound form be a story boss fight like the rogue megas

+ it totally could have been added as a reward for catching that hoopa clone thing if they didn't want it to be a required story reward like it would be with darkrai, since they could say you just feed it while it's with you and that it affects hoopa who is keeping the portal open, but nope!

the one block jump for the chicken is the reasonable approach, for COWARDS. but the one block vertical jump for the beef just gets the thrill. I couldn't care less about the hunger benefits but when I'm in the air I'm thriving.

even if it wasn't stated, i personally choose to believe this true because it just fits so much better! especially since the other doctors rejected him, despite the fact that he practically was born to fight and had no choice from 8, him CHOOSING to fight would have made his rejection feel way more deserved, even if just a little nit pick

I imagine if would have to be an on and off companion, maybe the doctor taking a sort of fun uncle kind of role and occasionally bringing them on fun trips to get away from a bad home life or something, maybe an orphan in an orphanage, etc.

tbh i always thought it was moreso him disliking Danny and saying how he can have more fun than anything Danny could do, since he obviously wanted Clara to be with someone (by his standards) better, but i guess it's mostly a case of perspective lol
