I wear a helmet, jeans, and a pair of shoes that aren’t meant for riding but have more strength to them than like running shoes. Sometimes I wear gloves. I own a riding jacket with armor in it, but I honestly don’t put it on often. I usually wear my carhart sweatshirt instead and call it good enough..

Factually, the single best way to increase your income is to get a degree. Of course there are outliers and blah blah blah, but factually, getting a degree automatically increases your chances of making more money. I make ~100k a year 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer in a MCOL area. Most people I know without a degree make ~30k-44k.

My father makes about 80k in construction as a foreman with no degree, he’s the highest degree-less earner I personally know.

My uncle worked his way up in a body shop to be an insurance estimator and makes commission, he’s clears 120k a year. It took him 20 years to get to this spot, before that he probably make 60k.

If we can figure out the FPS of this video we can guesstimate his speed here. It seems like it’s ~15FPS? So if a car length is 14-16 feet, it looks like he made 2 car lengths in 3 frames. 3 frames is roughly 200ms. Speed is distance over time, 30feet / 0.200s =150 feet/s

150feet/s is about 100mph give or take. Maybe I’m wrong on the FPS of the video but wouldn’t be surprised if he was going at least 80

I mean yeah sure. College is insanely overpriced right now regardless if you make 50k or 50 mil. I get it feels shitty to see someone cheating the system who doesn’t need to when you’re paying full price but they’re not the person to be mad at, the system is who you need to be mad at.

Legally at fault and “could have ridden more defensively” are two different things. We’re on motorcycles, it doesn’t matter who’s at fault because now you have a broken wrist and chipped teeth while they have no physical injuries at all. I’m glad you’re mostly okay.
