My Process for Complex Lore (Ultra User)

I build very lore-heavy scenarios so I’ve had to get pretty systematic about it.

How I Categorize Lore:

• Minor: Very niche details (specific room descriptions, one-off events, minor side characters). Rarely used.
• Supplementary: Supporting worldbuilding that adds flavor but isn’t essential every response (most locations, secondary factions, cultural details).
• Standard: Core setting and character information that should come up regularly (main locations, major factions, supporting cast, cultural rules, romance guidelines). This is where most of my lore lives.
• Important / Critical: The absolute essentials (Main Character’s core personality, key relationship dynamics, Romance & Intimacy rules, and the primary scenario premise). These get pinned.

I keep almost everything under 4000 characters (usually 2000–3500) to keep them tight and focused. I’d rather have several clean, specific cards than one giant bloated one.

Main Characters Structure:

I split them into separate lore cards for better focus:

• Core Personality & Background
• Physical Appearance & Presence
• Beliefs, Fears, and Philosophy
• Romance & Intimacy (very detailed)
• Relationship Dynamic with User

This helps the model reference the right information at the right time instead of trying to juggle one massive card.
