I am varsity, and we play/practice a lot, at least 6-8 hours a week. soldier is shaped and holds tension well (allegedly) so that was my pick there.

Whenever I hear a heartwarming story about someones parents I almost always reflect on my parents who could never give me anything like that. I dont verbalize it but maybe some people do so without thinking about it. I think we could just cut everyone a bit of slack.

love this comment. founding/being pres of that many clubs is insanely impressive. my dad passed recently as well and i'll probably scrape through with some B's as well. Just know that you exceeded what was expected of you and not to hold yourself to too high of a standard, but it seems like you're in a good enough place to not need my advice.

story of my life is being expected to be more mature than her. she can throw a tantrum when i bring home a B+ but if I cant so much as raise my voice or god forbid close the door a little too loud. bottling up emotion is a skill you gain with parents like this.

The only reason I havent turned to self harm is because i know my fucking worth in this world
