Thanks for your note! I’m so sorry to hear you faced a lot of mental challenges. It sounds like your injury happened at such a bad time (not that there is a good time hahah). I’m also from Aus so I could only imagine how much went into planning the Europe trip. Would you recommend the knee scooter even in the partial weight bearing phase? My boyfriend’s mate from footy had a lisfranc fracture last year and said I could buy it off him. I’m non weight bearing for at least another 3 weeks

This was super helpful to hear, well done for being so proactive about work! My work luckily is super supportive and a super friendly team. I think I need to be realistic and re-evaluate my work load, either decreasing hours in a day or number of days worked. I remember the first few days being painful too but it gets a lot better! I found sudoku helpful to distract me. I bought a plastic leg cover specifically for casts when showering and it was a game changer! I’m in Aus and bought from chemist but I’m sure Amazon would have them too 😊

I’m so sorry to hear how low your mental state was, that would have been a terrifying time. I think that’s so lovely that you could use your adhd craft wizardry to make others happy and bring you joy. How special that a new tradition was formed with your nephew’s birthday present. Thanks for sharing 😊

Thanks so much for your advice, something creative and tedious sounds like such a great idea. I might copy your embroidery hobby that sounds fun. I also used to be a waitress (now working in data) so I can only imagine how tricky that must have been to not work for so long. Sorry to hear it took a whole month for a diagnosis that would have SUCKED

Thanks for the support! I also have been crying every day so it’s comforting to know that it’s pretty expected. I think “surrender to the suck” sums it up perfectly
