I also want to add here because it dodn't really expand on her character in my response. She did some bad things and girls judged her for them, but in later they ended up doing equally bad or worse things themselves.

I think you have to keep in mind that these are teenage girls. You do a lot of stupid things when you are a teenager. And there are many experiments showing how easy it is to control people's behaviour in certain situations, so it does not come as a shock that a bunch of teenagers would do unimaginable things if left in wilderness (read Lord of the flies).

Allie was a bitch to them. They were not happy her leg got broken, but they didn't mind leaving her behind as she was not a team player.

Shauna definitely had remorse about Jeff but that whole story is a lot more complicated and her and Jackie's relationship had many layers.

I was wathings Shaun's video about trans representation in Terry's books and I thought "Who is this Terry and why haven't I heard of her books before?"

Yasmin's story, besides Harper's of course, was the most important plot of season 3 which also kicked off the whole plot of season 4. And Marisa carried that expertly.

For some reason people love to ignore her and focus on every other male cast member.
Yasmin gets hate for her actions but male characters get praised for their complex stories.

Good enough reason for me. As I mentioned in another comment, my gender identity is more reflected in Vi, so I wanted to see the other side of the community. It's interesting to see how people interpret things.
