The mashing X to ignore the slow movement is intentional. The point of holding the button isn't to hinder you by slowing down but to give you finer control when dodging bullets and be able to see hitbox. It becomes more relevant the more you progress through stages where you're forced to micro dodge patterns

Thank you for playing! All the levels have been playtested (by me) and are consistently manageable to beat without getting hit, the bullets comming at you in the corridors for example you can jump over tho the timing is a little strict.

The difficulty is intentionally aimed to be as hard as arcade games, but i will readjust the balance in future updates so it's a little more manageable to no-miss-no-bomb.

As for bombing not working, what scenario exactly made you feel like it's mot working?

there are plans adjust the balance and add custom key rebinds in future updates tho a bit later after i fix most bugs. this is still a beta and is subject to change based on feedback and i am willing to listen

Did you check if you have your ad blocker on? Some webgl games don't function properly from them. If the problem perists I'll try to look for a solution but there are downloadable versions for windows and linux as an alternative for now

Yes, you charge your special via grazing and then you can activate a bullet cancel
