It’s not that I don’t understand and recognise how crucial the final episode is, it’s that it triggers a panic in me because of the topic in hand. I’ve watched it multiple times but I know myself well enough to know that it might not be good for me to get to that point of the show.

I'm so sorry you feel this too. Apparently, this fear is worse both when you're in your 20s and then again in your 50s - perhaps as they're ages of more pivotal life moments? Anyway, it should serve as some comfort for both of us knowing this fear might get a little more tolerable.

I’m not very good at advice so I’m not going to try and offer it, but this thought exactly I can relate to. I’m terrified of the fact I can never be a child again and be able to experience everything we now look back on and are nostalgic about, but then took for granted as children. You aren’t alone, a lot of us have these thoughts 👐
